Psycho Bob was sitting in a prison cell when Kodak Black walked into his life with a promise that could change everything. “When we get out, I’m signing you,” Yak told him. Psycho had been a crash-out from the Florida streets, a nobody rapper with nothing to lose. Kodak’s word meant he could finally leave the trenches behind.
But promises have a way of dying in the streets. The war between Zone 10 and Liberia was already burning out of control. Whiz the Wizard was from Hollywood, Florida, repping Zone 10 with a target on his back. They were putting pressure on everyone in the hood, which made them enemies fast.
In 2016, the ops came through and killed Whiz’s little brother, Jib, while he was chilling on the block with his homie Bhead. Bhead made it out and identified the shooter. Jib wasn’t even active like Whiz, but he died anyway. That night changed everything.
The shooters were from a hood called Liberia, repping a set called HMT—Hit My Target. After Jib got killed, the violence between Zone 10 and Liberia went to a whole new level. Other sets got caught in the middle too. A crew from Dania called the Nightmares linked up with Zone 10 to form an alliance called DoubleM.
Liberia tried to stop that from happening. In July 2017, Psycho Bob and his homie Brat were on the block when shooters rolled up firing. They ran and escaped without getting hit. A few days later, they found out some HMT members were posting their location at a block party.
Psycho and Brat grabbed two guns, drove out, walked straight up to a house, and started shooting. They didn’t hit anyone, but they crashed out in front of an entire block party without wearing masks. The cops caught up with them quickly. Psycho got a few years in prison.
That stretch behind bars turned out to be his luckiest break. He met Kodak Black in the same facility, and Yak promised to sign him when they both got out. But in 2020, Psycho came home while Kodak was still locked up. His music wasn’t popping, and Yak wasn’t there to help.
So Psycho went right back to the trenches, and the war got crazier. In September 2020, a dude named Jadaeus Davis was walking home in HMT’s hood. He wasn’t even a member, just cool with the set. Somebody spun through looking for someone else and caught Jadaeus instead, leaving him dead in the street.
It should have ended there. Instead, the next few days proved this beef was on a different level. HMT had no idea who pulled the trigger on Jadaeus. So instead of finding his killer, they went after Psycho Bob’s mom.
On October 15, 2020, Psycho’s mother was sitting on her porch when Liberia Sig allegedly pulled up and started shooting. She got hit but survived. A few days later, they allegedly killed Psycho’s homie Taco. Psycho rapped about it on a track: “Taco had died.
More mamas had cried. ” His mom getting shot was insane, but nobody outside Broward County was paying attention yet. Then in 2021, Kodak Black came home after receiving a pardon from Donald Trump. Yak signed a bunch of shooters to his Sniper Gang label, including Psycho Bob, Whiz the Wizard, and Wham SpinTheBin.
Yak wasn’t part of the beef between DoubleM and HMT, but he hopped on tracks with Psycho, Whiz, and Wham while they dissed the ops. Psycho rapped about snipers on his side and bodies dropping daily. Their music was starting to pop, but bodies were still dropping in the streets. HMT Trey was allegedly putting in major work against DoubleM, and his work in the streets allegedly got his own mother killed.
In March 2021, Trey’s mom, Misty, was opening her nail salon when a shooter killed her in broad daylight. A dude named James Hardwick got booked a year later and allegedly drove the getaway car. Some sources claimed he had ties to Whiz the Wizard. The shooter and driver were reportedly paid for the hit a couple of days before it happened, but nobody knows who put up the money.
A lot of people tried to connect Psycho Bob to Misty’s murder. That’s allegedly why the ops boxed Psycho in while he was driving a few weeks later. Two whips trapped him, a shooter hopped out, and started dumping rounds into his car. Psycho was bleeding out in the road when an ambulance saved his life.
Nobody got booked for it, but HMT Trey and Liberia Sig dissed him over the situation. There was another rumor floating around: Psycho Bob was allegedly hooking up with Liberia Sig’s mother. Psycho even dropped a track called “Stepdaddy,” rapping, “That’s your stepdaddy. I’mma call your mama.
I’mma tell your mama. ” Trey and Sig fired back with their own track, mentioning protections from the president and catching famous ass niggas hanging from rooftops. The ops caught Psycho lacking again a couple months after he got shot, trying to kill him in Dania Beach. He didn’t get hit that time, but then DoubleM took a huge loss.
Whiz the Wizard had been a massive problem for the ops for years. Back around 2015, the cops said he was running a crew that broke into houses all over the city. After his brother Jib got killed, Whiz allegedly tried to catch a body. He shot at a dude named Denzel Williams but missed.
Williams ran straight to the cops, and Whiz got booked for attempted murder. Williams was supposed to testify—then someone killed him before the trial started. The charge got dropped, and Whiz started popping off with Kodak. But Whiz started having drama with Yak too.
Kodak allegedly only gave him 30K for signing to Sniper Gang, and they took shots at each other on Instagram. Whiz downplayed it: “It ain’t no crazy beef, man. Business is business. ” But before they could patch things up, somebody allegedly back doored Whiz.
In September 2021, Whiz’s body was found outside a crib in Hallandale Beach. There were no shell casings around his body, which made investigators think he was killed somewhere else and dumped in the yard to send a message. HMT Trey eventually got booked for the murder, and the cops believed Liberia Sig helped him move the body. Nobody knew how the ops caught Whiz lacking—he moved smart.
That’s why a lot of people think he got snaked by his own homie, 26 CJ. CJ was cool with both sides, even after moms started getting shot. He was homies with HMT Trey and Whiz at the same time. Rumors say CJ got paid to set Whiz up.
And the wildest part? CJ bragged about it. Right after Whiz got killed, CJ posted a picture with stacks of cash spelling out “King Cobra. ”
Then in March 2023, the story took another violent turn.
26 CJ got killed too. The cops found his body inside his whip—but he hadn’t just been shot. After someone pulled the trigger, they set his body on fire. Rumors said he was still alive when it happened.
Whiz’s homie Wham SpinTheBin hopped on IG and said, “Niggas played with Whiz and got set on fire. ” According to rumors, Whiz wasn’t the only one CJ back doored. Another DoubleM affiliate named Blood got shot and killed after CJ allegedly used a girl to set him up. What made it even stranger was Kodak’s reaction.
Yak dropped a track after Whiz died, rapping: “DoubleM gang, but I ain’t talking Rick Ross. DoubleM gang, I took that shit from Whiz. Rest in peace, my nigga, but it’s his fault. The way you let them kill you like a jit.
” But later on another track, Yak admitted he hated how he fell out with Whiz: “I hate how I fell out with Wiz. You did what you did, so I did what I did. ”
Meanwhile, HMT Trey was still walking free. A week after he allegedly killed Whiz, Trey ran into Psycho Bob at the mall.
They started yelling at each other, and Psycho clowned Trey for getting his own mother killed: “Your mother got put up. ” Trey’s mom wasn’t the last innocent parent to die in this war, though. In November 2021, Trey’s homie Hatch lost his dad. Hatch’s father was shot and killed while sitting in his whip.
DoubleM was allegedly behind it. Hatch was already active, but losing his dad turned him up even more. Hatch, Liberia Sig, and HMT Trey allegedly slid and shot two people a couple months later—both survived. In 2023, Hatch and Liberia Sig allegedly killed a DoubleM member named Marlo.
Psycho Bob’s mom had been shot. The ops caught him lacking in traffic and tried to kill him at his own crib. But Psycho stayed on Instagram dissing them and dropped “Stepdaddy” instead of laying low. His music was running up numbers, but the streets kept getting bloodier.
2023 was a wild year in Broward County. In April, a dude from Liberia named Ovares slid on DoubleM and killed a member named Sauce. A month later, he allegedly killed two more people on the same day. In July, Hatch and Liberia Sig allegedly killed Psycho’s homie Marlo again.
Psycho couldn’t do anything about it—he was locked up on a gun charge he caught in 2022. The cops pulled him over for speeding, found over 20 grams of weed and a gun, and hit him with a five-year sentence. Since the ops couldn’t catch Psycho on the streets, they went after his family again. Psycho’s mom, Dorothy, already survived one shooting.
In September 2023, they came back and finished the job. On September 13, HMT Trey, Liberia Sig, and two other shooters allegedly pulled up to Dorothy’s crib while she sat in her van in the driveway. All four allegedly opened fire, and Dorothy was found dead at the scene. The day after she was killed, Hatch hopped on IG live and started clowning her: “I ain’t kill that lady.
Rest in peace to her soul. It’s just funny to me. It’s hilarious, to be honest. ” Hatch wasn’t involved in the hit, but Liberia had been planning it for over a year.
Cops said HMT Trey and his homie Rico planned the hit back in February 2022 but took more than a year to catch her. Dorothy didn’t live near the beef and probably thought she was safe. They found her address online and drove out on a risky mission to kill her. The violence kept going.
In December 2023, Liberia Sig and his homie Vondarius Davis tried to slide on a dude named Isaiah Sumpter and shot up a building. They missed him but hit someone else. In January 2024, Liberia Sig allegedly killed Terrence Ferington Jr. , and Ovares was allegedly on that hit too.
A week later, Ovares allegedly caught another body. The same month, Liberia tried to slide on Isaiah Sumpter again and shot up a car—hitting an innocent girl instead. You can’t crash out forever, though. The hit on Terrence Ferington is what brought them down.
Liberia Sig and his homies allegedly killed him while he was walking out of a Best Buy. The cops found the whip used in the crash-out, and Liberia Sig’s fingerprints were inside. That broke the case open. A few months later, Liberia Sig, HMT Trey, and six of their homies got hit with a massive indictment alleging involvement in eight murders and twelve attempted murders.
Gerard Charles, aka Hot Rod, was allegedly one of the shooters who killed Dorothy. He was also allegedly on the Terrence Ferington hit. When the cops booked him in March 2024, they found something shocking on his phone. Liberia wasn’t just taking out their own ops—they were getting paid for murder.
Evidence on Hot Rod’s phone allegedly proved Liberia was doing paid hits for a set called Lauderhill Babies, aka LKB. LKB was beefing with Snap AB, and Snap AB couldn’t defend themselves, so they allegedly started paying Liberia to slide on LKB for them. A dude named Color Money had his crib shot up, and the cops said Snap AB paid Liberia 20K for the hit. Now Liberia Sig, HMT Trey, and their six homies are all facing the death penalty.
In 2025, Florida broke the state’s record by sentencing 15 people to death. But even though most of the shooters got locked up, Kodak was about to lose another homie. After Whiz died and Psycho got locked up, Wham SpinTheBin was the last one standing. He kept repping DoubleM in the booth and wanted to start his own label, but he never left the streets.
When Jib got killed, Wham allegedly turned up and started catching bodies. On his track “KTB,” he rapped about dropping three ops. Wham was allegedly moving crazy and had a problem with pills. In 2024, he even got shot by a woman and posted his bloody hand on IG.
Then in August 2025, the cops found Wham bleeding on the ground with gunshots in his back. By the time they got him to the hospital, it was too late. Witnesses said an argument broke out, and then somebody busted about ten shots. At first, everyone assumed the ops caught him lacking, but the cops think it was somebody close to Wham who pulled the trigger.
There are all kinds of rumors about him getting snaked by his homies, but nobody knows the real story yet. The war in Broward County was one of the most brutal beefs in rap history. Now almost everyone involved is either dead or facing the death penalty. Psycho Bob might eventually come home and get his music momentum back.
But in a war where moms get killed and homies get burned alive, coming home isn’t the same as making it out.
