After a four-year break from the spotlight, Elisha Cuthbert is back on screen and making moves off it too—she just scored a buyer for her charming West Hollywood home, which had been asking just over $2 million.
The “24” and “Girl Next Door” star, now 43, has been grabbing headlines for her return to acting in Prime Video’s “Every Year After.” But while she’s busy promoting her new series, sources confirm she quietly found a buyer for her storybook traditional residence built back in 1936. The property sits just up the hill from the iconic Chateau Marmont, according to listing details.
Originally listed for $2. 34 million last March, the home was relisted on June 25 for $2. 09 million—and within a week, it was marked as contingent, meaning an offer has been accepted.
Cuthbert originally bought the house for $1. 64 million in 2005, long before she married retired NHL player Dion Phaneuf in 2013 on Prince Edward Island.
The home, measuring 2,109 square feet, features three bedrooms and two baths. Inside, neutral beige, brown, and cream tones create a soothing vibe, while French doors open to colorful outdoor spaces perfect for alfresco dining. For Cuthbert, this sale comes as she steps back into the public eye after focusing on motherhood. She and Phaneuf share daughter Zaphire, born in 2017, and son Fable, born in 2022. “I just felt like I needed to be at home with the kids and I enjoyed every minute,” she said.
“Every Year After” marks her first major TV role since the 2022 film “Bandid” with Mel Gibson. The show premiered at the 2026 Tribeca Festival earlier this month.
