In a jaw-dropping display of strength and determination, 50-year-old John Stephenson has reportedly become the first person ever to pull a car using his penisβwhile on fire. This unusual stunt, performed in Halifax, West Yorkshire, was aimed at raising awareness for prostate cancer, a cause close to his heart.
On April 30, Stephenson managed to drag a 2-ton French police vehicle a staggering 131 feet down a residential street, leaving onlookers both bewildered and amazed. With a tow rope secured to his manhood and flames licking at his body, the martial arts expert and former bare-knuckle fighter pushed through the pain, declaring, βeverything was still intactβ despite the fiery challenge.
βIβve pulled a car with my testicles before and Iβve pulled a car on fire, so I thought, why not combine the two?β Stephenson explained. βBut this time, I did it with my penis.β He admitted that the experience was painful, yet his focus on the task at hand kept him going. βI doused myself in lighter fuel, and the wind was against me a bit, so it took a couple of attempts. Iβve got a few marks down there, but hopefully no harm done.β

While many might question his sanity, Stephenson insists that thereβs a serious message behind his outrageous antics. He aims to shed light on prostate cancer, which, excluding skin cancer, is the most prevalent cancer among men in the U.S. and a leading cause of cancer-related deaths. With 1 in 6 men facing a prostate cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, awareness is crucial, especially since early detection can lead to a five-year survival rate exceeding 99%.

Stephenson also highlights the importance of addressing bullying in schools, using his platform to advocate for change. He is raising funds for Ruddis Retreat in Huddersfield, a charity that provides vacations for families of children battling cancer.
In addition to this daring feat, Stephenson holds multiple world records, including the fastest 300 punches in 30 seconds while holding weights. He has also made headlines for various other records related to martial arts and vehicle lifting.
As an author and a recognized figure in martial arts, Stephensonβs unique approach to raising awareness has certainly captured attention. What other unconventional methods might he consider next in his quest to spark conversations about important health issues?
