Four people went to find Elon Musk in 12 locations to serve the child custody lawsuit but could not meet the technology billionaire, making it difficult to resolve the lawsuit.

According to recently filed court documents, Grimes had difficulty contacting Elon Musk to serve custody papers. The technology billionaire is a frequent traveler. His ex-girlfriend tried to go to 12 different places of work of Musk but could not meet him.

According to Insider, the Canadian singer hired four people to go to Musk’s workplace in San Francisco, the SpaceX launch site in Boca China, Texas, Tesla’s factory in Austin, other locations in the city.

One prosecutor even went to the tech mogul’s horse farm in Texas but was told: “No, not here.”

Grimes had difficulty serving a child custody lawsuit to Elon Musk.

According to court documents, the person hired by Grimes had difficulty determining Elon Musk’s whereabouts and work from October 13-20, including tracking private jets.

According to California state law, documents must be served on the person involved in the lawsuit. The California Superior Court stated that if the papers are not served properly and on time, the court cannot proceed with the case.

After many failed attempts to find Elon Musk, four people hired by Grimes were forced to leave legal documents at the technology billionaire’s workplace at X, Tesla and SpaceX.

Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) sued Elon Musk in California for custody of three children on September 29. In the first lawsuit, the female singer did not request alimony from her ex-boyfriend.

After that, Page Six reported that Elon Musk quietly sued his ex-girlfriend from September 13. In the application, Tesla boss said that he was the only one taking care of the three children they shared since they were born. Elon Musk wants to be the sole legal custodian of his children.

Initially, Elon Musk wanted to mediate, but because Grimes did not agree, Elon Musk sent a petition to the Texas Court. According to Daily Mail, the child custody lawsuit aims to resolve child custody rights for two people who have children together but are not married.

In September, Grimes caused a media stir when she begged her ex-boyfriend’s assistant to see her child. “Tell Elon to let me see my son, otherwise talk to my lawyer,” the comment was later deleted.

Elon Musk and Grimes dated in 2018, after meeting each other through social networks. They announced their relationship at the Met Gala, USA. After many breakups and reunions, with three children together, they officially broke up in March 2022.

“Elon and I broke up again since this article, but he is still my best friend and the love of my life. My life is now devoted to art,” she said.
