
In a heartbreaking turn of events, a body has been discovered in a wooded area during the search for a missing 17-year-old boy. Taryn Ellis-Allen was reported missing from Kessingland, Suffolk, leading to a desperate search by emergency services that began earlier this week.
Taryn was last seen on Field Lane around 3:30 PM on Monday, August 17. As the hours passed, Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue, along with local police, mobilized to locate him, sparking a community effort to find the teenager.
Tragically, on Tuesday, August 18, search teams found a body in the woods near Francis Road. While formal identification is still pending, Taryn’s family has been notified of this devastating discovery.
Authorities have stated that the circumstances surrounding the death do not appear to be suspicious. A report will be compiled for the coroner as investigations continue.
