An ungrateful New York man facing a slew of violent charges killed his parents after they spent $10,000 to bail him out of jail.
He then took his own life, police said.
The man was identified as Justin Sislo, 35.
On Friday, Sislo fatally shot his parents at their home in Madison.
After the shooting, he turned the gun on himself.
The Madison County Sheriffβs Office reported the details to WSYR.
Police found Sislo and his mother and father dead inside the parentsβ home.
The mother was Donna Walker-Sislo, 72.
The father was Steve Sislo, 76.
Officers spotted their βobviously deceasedβ bodies through a window.
Less than a month earlier, the elderly parents had paid $10,000 to bail their son out of jail.
He had been arrested for attacking his girlfriend, according to the outlet and court records.
Sislo faced multiple charges.
Those charges included second-degree strangulation against his 56-year-old lover.
He also faced multiple firearm offenses.
After he walked free, he gunned down his family.
At the house, police smelled propane or gasoline.
They also found a gun inside.
This was despite the fact that Sislo had been barred from possessing firearms after his recent arrest.
His court date had been set for August 21, records show.
Sislo apparently had a rocky relationship with his father.
Police had responded to another domestic incident involving Sislo and his dad in 2024.
No charges were filed in that incident, WSYR reported.
