Recently, when Angelina Jolie walked on the streets of New York (USA), paparazzi discovered that the star had bought a new tattoo on her right arm. It is known that it is an Italian inscription “eppur si muove” which means “And it still moves”. This is a famous quote by mathematician, physicist and philosopher Galileo Galilei in 1633.

Let’s review the series of tattoos that cover almost all of the actress’s body. Each tattoo has a different spiritual meaning.

Angelina’s first tattoo is the word “death” – Japanese Kanji, meaning “death”. However, according to Jolie, this tattoo has the meaning of reminding her of life.

The famous Hollywood actress has 3 new tattoos on her back, including a letter board simulating geometry, animal shapes and pagodas. According to local people, they are two ancient Thai Buddhist symbols and a mantra to help protect the owner.

Tattoo artists use the ancient method of using a steel rod fitted with a small needle to tattoo directly. It causes more pain on the skin than using a tattoo gun and requires very high precision.

While Jolie has 3 new tattoos on her back, Pitt also has a Buddhist symbol tattooed on his left side. The couple’s tattoos were meant to symbolize the bond between husband and wife, but in the end they still went their separate ways.

On the left hand of the female artist is the number La Ma XIII V MCMXL (May 13, 1940) tattooed in 2009.

This is another tattoo to cover up the abstract tattoo Angelina had while living with her ex-husband Billy Bob. This Arabic text means “Determination”, tattooed on the right hand, which according to Jolie refers to “strength of will”.

Previously, Angelina had the word “Billy Bob” and a black dragon tattooed on her left arm to honor her ex-husband – Billy Bob Thornton. After breaking up, this tattoo was removed and covered with another tattoo.

After removing the Billy Bob tattoo, Algelina tattooed it with 6 coordinates of the birthplaces of her adopted and biological children. Later, she added a 7th coordinate, which people guess is the coordinates of Brad Pitt’s birthplace.

A Tennessee Williams quote “a prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages” is tattooed on the inside of Jolie’s left arm.

On the inside of Angelina’s wrist is a tattoo of the letter “H” to express her love and respect for her brother – James Haven.

Angelina’s palm has a tattoo of the letter “M” as her homage to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand.

Jolie’s inner thigh tattoo “Whiskey Bravo” is Brad Pitt’s initials. Both Angelina and Brad Pitt have pilot’s licenses and Whiskey Bravo stands for the initials of Brad Pitt’s name according to the aviation alphabet.
