Tupac Mosley, a homeless 17-year-old from eastern Tennessee, shocked his colleagues by graduating as Raleigh Egypt High School’s top student.
Tupac Mosley, the top student in his class despite suffering difficulties like homelessness, kept a 4.3 GPA and was accepted into more than 40 American universities.
Along with the Gates Bridge Scholarship, he was awarded a total of $3 million in scholarships to attend the University.
“I was more than ecstatic and pleased and amazed that it was that much when I heard that I got $3 million,” Mosley told Fox 13.
Tupac’s father had died and his family was unable to pay their debts. They were eventually evicted from their home and have been residing in various residences throughout Memphis, United States since then.
Thankfully, they learned about “For the Kingdom”, a nonprofit organization that helps urban children and teens make positive choices while simultaneously providing a camping site.
Tupac was blessed to have the chance to spend time with his family. Tupac has registered at Tennessee State University in the United States to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
