Attending the LACMA 2023 event without prior notice, Rosé (Blackpink) still caused a stir on social networks.

On November 5, the 12th annual LACMA Film and Arts Gala was held in Los Angeles (USA), honoring artists and filmmakers who bring meaningful works of art to the community.

This year LACMA honors artist Judy Baca, whose groundbreaking works of art have anchored the Los Angeles community for decades, along with leading American filmmaker David Fincher.

Many famous people in the world of art, cinema, fashion and entertainment gathered at the gala. Designer and entrepreneur Eva Chow and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio continue to be the duo hosting the ceremony for the 12th consecutive year.

Notably, this morning, Rosé (member of Kpop group Blackpink) suddenly shared a picture of the LACMA 2023 event card on her personal page, with the content: “On the way to LACMA”.

Rosé’s announcement surprised fans, because previously it seemed that the fan community was unaware of the female idol’s event schedule.

Rosé received an invitation to attend the event from luxury fashion brand Saint Laurent (YSL) and Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello. This is the second year in a row that Blackpink’s vocalist has appeared at LACMA.

Last year, the female global ambassador of Saint Laurent caused a storm on social networks when she walked the LACMA red carpet with a 𝑠e𝑥y look.

This year, Rosé’s unexpected schedule to LACMA continues to cause a stir. On Twitter, the hashtag #ROSÉatLACMA2023 quickly reached nearly 100,000 posts, reaching the top global trends.

At the gala, Rosé sat next to Lee Won Ju – daughter of Samsung Group Chairman Lee Jae Yong, followed by Lee Boo Jin – Chairman Lee Jae Yong’s younger sister. Rosé’s conversation moment with Lee Won Ju also attracted attention.
