According to actress Tina O’Brien, Sarah feels like “the worst person in the world” in that moment. “It should be a perfect moment, but she is so racked with guilt and shame that she can’t enjoy it at all,” Tina shared.
“She can see how much he loves her and she definitely wants to be with him,” Tina added. “But she is struggling with the idea of getting married while hiding such a massive secret.”
The big question is whether Kit can ever forgive Sarah for keeping this from him. Tina worries that “he will see her as only being with him to keep herself out of prison,” creating a dynamic of “mistrust and confusion” that may never be repaired.
As for where Sarah’s heart truly lies, Tina admitted it’s complicated. “If you had asked me six months ago, I would have said absolutely — Kit is the right person for Sarah. But after everything she has been through with Gary, it’s complicated.”
Fans have been shocked by the twist, with Tina noting that people on the street have been “genuinely surprised” by the reveal. “I was so convinced that everyone would know it’s me,” she laughed.
