A Coronation Street mom is about to go full protective mode, and one young man is about to find himself in the hot seat. Lisa Connor-Swain is pointing fingers at Dylan Wilson after her daughter Betsy is rushed to the hospital in terrifying new scenes.
Betsy and Dylan have been the picture of young love lately, spending every spare moment together before she heads off to study in London. Things take a scary turn when Dylan teaches Betsy how to cook a bolognaise, and she seems fine at first. But soon after, Ryan Connor finds her unconscious on the kitchen floor, and an ambulance is racing away from the street with its sirens blaring.
At the hospital, a nurse tells a tearful Lisa that Betsy needs an MRI scan. When Dylan shows up to check on his girlfriend, he runs out of her room in a panic, warning Lisa and Carla that Betsy appears to be having a seizure. The two moms watch in horror as doctors rush to help.
Dylan tries to show he cares by buying Betsy a bag of treats to make her hospital stay more comfortable. But when he arrives with the gifts, he is met by a furious Lisa who reportedly blames him for Betsy’s condition. An upset Betsy begs her mom not to blame Dylan, but the damage may already be done.
Later, Sean suggests that he and Dylan visit Betsy together, but Dylan shuts the conversation down, leaving Sean suspicious. Things escalate when Lisa shows up at the police station and reportedly tells the desk sergeant she wants to report a crime. Is Lisa about to get Dylan thrown behind bars?
