Finn And Elizabeth Are Over, But Who Will They Move On With?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are no more. Finding him with another woman in his arms was honestly the least of Elizabeth’s worries.

Although she appeared disgusted by the sight before her eyes, her primary concern was still that Finn hadn’t pulled it together and stopped drinking — and how that might impact Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).

His harsh words probably won’t be forgiven a second time; we think this couple is truly done. But that brings to light a new question. Who might they both find themselves gravitating toward as they try to get over one another and move on with their lives?

General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Been A Long Road

We know all too well what it means when the writers give us a montage of a relationship after it has just ended. Finn and Elizabeth are toast.

She’s not going to be able to unsee what she saw or unhear what he said to her, and explaining it away to herself that it was “drunk Finn” and not her Finn won’t take away the pain, nor any anxiety that it could happen again.

She meant what she said, she can’t put herself or her kids through this. The guilt might get to her though, given that Finn wasn’t wrong about how he stood by her with his daughter in tow when she was going through her own battle.

GH Spoilers – Hint Finn Finnegan Is Better Off Alone

Honestly, who would want Finn in this condition? He may pick up another bar fly from time to time whose name he doesn’t even know, but Finn is in no shape to move on with any one person — unless he can track down someone who is a comparable self-destructive match.

We can’t wait to see whether that happens. In the meantime, the pain of knowing he caused himself to lose Elizabeth after all they’d done to work toward making their relationship work will likely drive him deeper into a state of addiction.

Finn needs to heal the relationship he has with himself before he can worry about anyone else.

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Webber Has Options

With one son out the door and another not too far away from the same fate, Elizabeth has to be wondering what her life looks like as a mother to only one child soon, Aiden Webber (Tristan Riggs).

Rumor has it Elizabeth may be moving on without a partner, but with a serious life change on the horizon no less. Could she end up caring for Violet while Finn scrambles to get his life back together — or doesn’t?

It’s certainly plausible, but the fans are hoping there is something better in store for her. While we wouldn’t loathe a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth reunion, we’re all waiting for Jason to find his true love again with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Besides, we’re also all waiting for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to come home and fill the void in Elizabeth’s dreams of a nuclear family. Will we get that happy ending this year? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
