Kim Kardashian Joins The Most Disliked Celebrities Of 2024, And Is ‘more Hated’ Than Her Controversial Ex-husband, Kanye West

Kim Kardashian joins the most disliked celebrities of 2024, and is ‘more hated’ than her controversial ex-husband, Kanye West. That’s according to a Ranker study, making Kim the 12th most disliked star out of the Top 100.

The Kardashians are often hit with criticism for everything they do, from what they wear at the Met Gala to their decisions to represent fashion brands. Kim Kardashian is now the most ‘hated’ family member, but only according to this poll.

Kim Kardashian ‘most disliked’

Kim Kardashian has become the 12th most disliked celebrity of 2024, as per a Ranker list. Stars such as Chris Brown, Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey are more ‘hated’ than the reality TV star, though.

In recent weeks, Kim has faced backlash for being the alleged subject of Taylor Swift’s song, thanK you AImee, which sees the singer sing, “F*** you and your ex-husband.”

She’s also been slightly cancelled for other factors, such as joking about Princess Kate going missing, and for staying silent while the Gaza war happens despite having many millions of followers.

Kim is more hated than her ex, Kanye West, who is 13th on the list of most disliked celebrities. His controversial social media posts have stirred up a lot of drama online in the past.

However, it seems anyone associated with the Kardashians gets the so-called ‘Kardashian curse,’ in which anyone who dates someone in the famous family becomes irrelevant.

While the hurtful list has named 100 celebs, with fans able to vote stars up and down the poll, it’s not a definite opinion. The poll hasn’t been handed out to all those who know of the Kardashians or celebrity culture.

Kim herself, was noticed by Time Magazine in 2023 and featured on the cover of their Most Influential Companies issue.

The Kardashians are on the Blockout 2024 list

The Kardashians have joined the Blockout 2024 list created by fans, which has led to Kim losing half a million followers. The Blockout movement urges users to block and disengage from celebrities’ content.

Platforms such as X, TikTok, and Instagram are affected, which underscores the power of social media in holding public figures accountable, and the movement particularly zoned in on Kim.

According to the Blockout 2024 official website, “celebrities such as Kim Kardashian already lost more than 3 million followers overnight,” and she’s not the only one affected.

Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner, Drake and other celebrities are being hit with a huge decline in followers as they haven’t used their public platform to speak and raise awareness of the war in Gaza.
