Dex’s Security Blanket Is Gone — What Will Jason’s Next Move Be?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) wasn’t operating under any of the same security that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) felt when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) promised her he wouldn’t let Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) harm him.

\Of course, Jason’s plan to keep Dex safe has now fallen through in a rather abysmal way. He’s lost the leverage he was hoping would keep Sonny in place.

Under normal circumstances, it may have, but Sonny isn’t being properly medicated and no one that truly cares about him knows that. Without that leverage, how will Jason pivot to ensure Sonny keeps his hands to himself? Is there any saving Dex now?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Damage Is Done

When Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) walked in on her father beating the living daylights out of Dex and threatening to kill him and Jason, it was clear to Sonny what a misstep he had made.

Maybe he still feels valid in going after Dex, but he certainly wishes Kristina wouldn’t have witnessed all that she did.

At the same time, Jason was holding Sonny back from finishing the job on Dex, and Kristina entering the space was the worst thing that could have happened in the situation in his mind.

Jason had hoped that telling Sonny he would lose Kristina if he killed Dex would be enough to prevent him from acting on his anger.

Now that Kristina knows her father’s intentions, will Sonny feel there is no reason not to proceed with taking Dex out?

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller Has A Decision To Make

Dex doesn’t need Jason to tell him what might lie ahead now. The writing is on the wall. Sonny is behaving recklessly and no one can seem to reel him in.

His love for his daughter wasn’t enough to hold him back when presented with what was a rather poor opportunity to take a swipe at Dex.

Without the cover of Jason’s protection, Dex may need to rethink his decision to join the PCPD police force. In fact, Joss may insist it’s more necessary now than ever, but we suspect Dex isn’t willing to live in fear of Sonny.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Morgan Is Also At A Fork In The Road

Jason wanted to protect his old friend while also upholding his promise to Joss. Now, he may have to do the one thing he hates most and go back on his word.

Sonny is behaving more unpredictably than ever. No one could’ve imagined he would go after Dex at his “niece’s” wedding, nor that he’d do it at his exs’ hotel.

With so many people still mulling around after the big event, it’s clear Sonny saw red and didn’t even take into account the risk of someone witnessing his crime.

Will Jason have to cut him loose and let Sonny fend for himself? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Cop29 climate deal worth £240BILLION is finally struck but excludes China – as developing countries say the sum is ‘too little, too late’

Wealthy countries yesterday agreed to triple the amount of aid they pay to developing nations to tackle climate change in a last-minute deal at the Cop29 summit. Developed countries including the UK, US and EU nations agreed to pay $300billion (£239billion) a year – up from the $100billion they pay now. The sum was described by the United Nations as ‘an insurance policy for humanity’. But the action – which excludes the world’s biggest polluter China – was dismissed as ‘too little, too late’ by developing countries.
