Ned Plans Mayoral Comeback, Uses Cyrus And Heather Against Laura!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been a strong mayor in the City of Port Charles for several years now.

As viewers know, Laura became Mayor after beating Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) at election time.

Laura has been mostly well received even though there was a time when her service was called into question. Laura weathered that storm however, and hasn’t had any problems since. But times might be changing.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Laura Collins Long-Lost Brother!

When drug lord Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) arrived in Port Charles, he began looking into Laura. He was searching for something to use against Laura so that she wouldn’t stand in his way.

Cyrus discovered that he and Laura share the same father, making them half-siblings. Cyrus became obsessed with trying to get Laura’s approval and when that didn’t work, he took her hostage and threatened to kill them both.

Cyrus went to prison and claimed to find God. Over time, Laura has seemingly begun to forgive Cyrus, choosing to believe that he’s rally a changed man.

Cyrus also managed to convince a judge he no longer poses a threat to society and has had his prison sentence vacated.

GH Spoilers – Heather Webber May Not Be Responsible For her Crimes!

Another long-time acquaintance of Laura is Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Over the last couple of decades, Heather’s behavior has become progressively more violent.

She even became a serial killer known as “the Hook” just a couple years ago. But during a recent examination at General Hospital, doctors discovered that Heather was suffering from cobalt poisoning. Laura is convinced that Heather’s darkest acts were because of her condition.

She’s been looking in to having Heather’s case re-opened. But Heather hurt a lot of people, so this has already proven to be an unpopular decision.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Needs A New Project

Ned has been working under Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) but he’s been quite unhappy not being in change. Once he learns about Laura’s advocacy for Heather, he could very easily decide its time to run for Mayor once again.

His could easily run a smear campaign focusing on Laura’s seemingly leniency with both Heather and Cyrus.

Both of them were responsible for horrible acts and Ned could easily exploit that to convince voters to choose him over Laura.

GH Spoilers – What Do You Think?

Should Laura forgive Cyrus? Is she wrong for trying to have Heather’s case re-opened? Could Ned take advantage of Laura’s actions and take her spot as Mayor of Port Charles? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Why I started the petition for another General Election: ‘Fed up’ pub landlord reveals what sparked viral campaign to get rid of Labour – as map shows how many people near you are part of the 2million to sign

The man behind a viral petition demanding a General Election has revealed why he started – as it clocks over more than 2.5million signatures. Pub landlord Michael Westwood said he decided to launch the petition having seen Keir Starmer and his MPs go back on their manifesto promises and repeatedly talk down the prospects for the country. The poorly received budget from Rachel Reeves that saw employers hit with an increase in national insurance tax was a key factor in his decision to launch the petition.
