A lot of NBA prospects feel pressure upon entering the NBA Draft. But none more so this year than Bronny James.
The son of LeBron James has been the talk of the town the past few days because of his NBA Draft Combine performance and the possibility of playing alongside his dad in the league.
Bronny, though, revealed how sometimes it can be difficult being in his father’s shadow.
“It’s tough. A lot of criticism gets thrown my way,” Bronny said in an interview with SiriusXM NBA Radio.
“I gotta deal with it. They don’t know what I’ve been through. I just try to make the best of [the] opportunities [that are] given to me.”

Many speculated why Bronny entered the draft despite playing only one year at USC, but he said he made the decision based on the advice he got from his mom, Savannah.
“I always want to end up where I’m happy most,” Bronny said. “Mom has always told me [to] take me where my heart wants me to be. I just found happiness in what I’m doing right now and I feel like that’s where I want myself to be at.”
