Three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford is enjoying watching Bronny James at the 2024 NBA Draft Combine.

I donâtâŠIâm not here to compare or forecast, I just really like how he plays. Can shoot it, makes the right reads, tough, athletic, smart player. Plays winning hoop. https://t.co/B4Wmvxzgja

Bronny, the oldest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, was recently medically cleared for the NBA Draft after undergoing heart surgery last summer.
The former USC Trojan was one of 78 players invited to the combine, where he has participated in two scrimmages in addition to shooting drills and athletic testing.
This isn’t the first time Crawford has praised James’ play. His public support of LeBron’s son dates back to at least 2022.
Yes he does!! Love watching him play. https://t.co/1gWs8spYIr

James recorded four points on 2-of-8 shooting while missing four three-point attempts and grabbing four rebounds in his first scrimmage on Tuesday.
“He’s never going to be labeled a point guard, but he continues to look useful enough on the ball with his ability to shoot off the dribble and make good decisions as a passer,” Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman concluded after James’ initial scrimmage.
James had further success as a passer during Wednesday’s scrimmage:

James may not be projected as a 2024 selection in Wasserman’s latest mock draft, but it still sounds like at least one NBA veteran believes LeBron’s son could eventually succeed in the pros.
