Anne Hathaway’s manicure reflects her new bangs with mirror-like shine.

She wore two totally different award-show beauty looks in a single weekend.

This weekend was huge for Hollywood, with multiple award shows at which celebrities and their glam squads could show off big beauty moments. Anne Hathaway made head-turning appearances at two events, and if you didn’t think she could stun any more than she did in cerulean at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, then you haven’t seen the photos from the Film Independent Spirit Awards yet.

It’s been nearly a year since we’ve seen Hathaway wearing fringe on her forehead. After wearing wispy bangs for Bvlgari events in Tokyo last April, she’s opted to part them or sweep them off to the side, letting them blend in as a shortest layer and giving us the impression that she was growing them out. But after her appearance at the Indie Spirit Awards on Sunday night, where she was nominated for Best Supporting Performance for her work in Eileen, it’s now apparent that she and stylist Adir Abergel have kept them waiting in the wings for the right moment to reemerge.

Hathaway wore her hair blown out with casual texture so it wasn’t stick-straight. Her bangs, however, were perfectly smooth, covering her forehead in long pieces that reached past her brows.

The Oscar winner probably carried a mirror in her bag, but just in case she forgot a compact, her manicure could easily serve as a reflective surface. Nail artist Tom Bachik gave her the shiniest pale green manicure we ever did see — something to match the gleam of her sequinned Valentino jumpsuit. “I went a shade darker using @miasecret new color in Sea Foam and glazed them using metallic flakes by Mia Secret to make them pop,” he wrote when he shared a closeup on Instagram.

She was clearly thrilled with the end result because a photographer caught her showing off her manicure to Michelle Williams, who also had her nails done by Bachik.
