Martin Grey Returns With Some Harsh Truths For Laura!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) left Port Charles for the time being once he discovered that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) had slept with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). But Martin promised his sister, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that he would eventually come back.

The two of them up until that point had been unsure what to make of their other brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). As viewers know, Cyrus has a drug kingpin before he was finally caught and sent to prison.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Claims To Have Found God

Thanks to his medical condition, Cyrus was eventually released from prison. He claimed that he had reformed and had even found religion. But both Martin and Laura were doubtful By the time Martin had left town, he and Laura were still uncertain whether or not Cyrus was truly on the up and up.But things have changed quite a bit since Martin has been gone.

Laura has seemingly given Cyrus the benefit of the doubt and has even encouraged him to press charges against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) after Sonny beat Cyrus to within an inch of his life. This is quite a change as Laura has always considered Sonny a friend in the past.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Isn’t The Only One Laura Collins Has Changed Her Mind About!

But Cyrus isn’t the only person Laura has recently had a change of heart about. Heather Webber (Alley Mills) has committed some terrible crimes over the last several years, including several murders.

But recently it’s been discovered that Heather has been suffering from cobalt poisoning and that may be responsible for her terrible crimes in recent years.

Laura has entertained the possibility of having Heather’s sentence vacated since she believes that Heather may not have been responsible for her actions. This stance has already drawn the ire of Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr), but she likely won’t be the only one.

General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey Can Talk Sense To Laura Collins!

When Martin returns, he will likely be shocked at Laura’s behavior. Laura seems to have forgotten that Cyrus is responsible for her daughter Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) coma after she was caught in an explosion that Cyrus ordered at the Floating Rib.

Martin knows Cyrus better than anyone, perhaps he can convince his sister to trust Cyrus quite so blindly. Hopefully that will open up Laura’s eyes, not just on her position with Cyrus but Heather as well!

What do you think?

Has Cyrus really reformed? Has Laura forgotten what Cyrus did to Lulu? Can Martin set her straight? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson was last night accused of taking a ‘simplistic’ approach after she said that top exam results alone will not make children ‘happy’. Laying out her vision for schooling in her first address to academy trust leaders since Labour came to power, Mrs Phillipson said that while a string of A* grades may ‘open important doors’, pupils need a ‘wider’ set of goals for a ‘healthy and happy life’. In a clear swipe at the Tories’ former regime, she accused them of having ‘tunnel vision’ when it comes to exam results – and said she wanted to promote ‘collaboration’ rather than ‘competition’.
