General Hospital spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has no idea where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been for the last two years, although she’s aware he’s been working as an informant for the FBI.
Coming Up On General Hospital
It makes no more sense to her than it does to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but she’s certainly not about to turn her back on the guy.
Jason is her best friend and arguably the real love of her life. She trusts that he must have a good reason for betraying everyone the way he did, and she’s just happy that he’s still alive.
So when she finds out the truth about how Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) has had Jason over a barrel — all because of her — she’s going to make a move no one will see coming.
The Truth Comes Out
When Sonny demanded that Jason tell him the truth about why he’s working as an informant for the FBI, it was clear he wasn’t about to give that information to just anyone.
If Sonny knew Carly was in danger, Jason couldn’t even be sure right now whether he’d understand Jason risking everything to protect her.
Furthermore, it would probably only solidify his theory that Jason and Carly have always been in love with each other and needed him out of the way so they could be together without a guilty conscience.
When the truth comes out that Carly is at risk of being thrown in federal prison, and that Jason has done all of this for her, heads will spin at her response.
GH Spoilers Say Jason is Off the Hook, But is Carly?
Yes, Carly is going to turn herself in and let fate decide what happens next. That should make for an interesting conversation now that she’s gotten so chummy with Jagger.
At the same time, he could go easier on her given now she tended to him in his own time of need. But it would be hard for him to disregard what he knows about her crimes — and losing Jason at the same time — and find a way to report that to his superiors that makes sense.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Won’t Love This
When Carly was guilty of insider trading, it was Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who took the fall and let Carly remain a free woman to care for her kids and go on living her life.
All of this time, Drew has been directing his anger at Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) for turning them in to the SEC, but he may finally realize it’s Carly he was bitter with — because she let him be her man of honor and take the fall.
In contrast, when she learns Jason is in trouble because of her dirty criminal secret, she won’t even let him continue to be blackmailed by it and will instead forsake herself for him.
