Real Madrid have had an incredible season so far. Los Blancos sit top of the table in La Liga and they have progressed to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Champions League. Should they overcome Manchester City, they will face Arsenal or Bayern Munich.

The North London side, Arsenal, are also having a great season. They too sit top of their domestic table, ahead of the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League title race. Their Spanish boss Mikel Arteta is known to be a fan of Spanish football and so, it’s no surprise to see him fascinated by the Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid story.

However, he is interested in the story from a selfish perspective. Not only were Arsenal one of the linked clubs to Mbappe, but they could actually benefit from the Frenchman signing at the Bernabeu. Here’s how…

Arsenal want to sign €120m Real Madrid star when Kylian Mbappe arrives

According to Defensa Central (via Sport), Arsenal are interested in signing Rodrygo. It is believed that with Mbappe expected to join Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti would be willing to let Rodrygo leave for a price range of €100m to €120m.

Rodrygo has been a fairly consistent starter for Real Madrid this season. Aside from the odd match where Carlo Ancelotti has decided to play around with the tactics, the Brazilian has been an efficient partner to Vinicius Junior. He has scored 13 goals and provided eight assists across all competitions this season.

It is a surprise to see Real Madrid’s stance on being willing to sell Rodrygo at the right price. After all, he is only 23 years old and one of the best versatile attackers in the world. However, I guess this goes to show that nobody is safe with the expected arrival of Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
