The 26-year-old Formula 1 driver leads the Red Bull Racing team, and has won the past three Drivers Championships.
Max made history as the youngest Formula 1 driver at just 17 years old, youngest points scorer and youngest race winner and in 2023, he won a record 19 out of 23 races!
With the 2024 race season starting, we’re taking a look back at Max‘s current and ex girlfriends, as well as who he has been rumored to be dating in the past.
Seychelle De Vries
Very early on in his career, Max dated Seychelle De Vries, who is fellow driver Nyck De Vries‘ sister.
Sabre Cook
Max reportedly dated American racing driver Sabre Cook back in 2015 at the start of his F1 career.
Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky
Once again, in his early days of racing with Toro Rosso, around 2015, Max dated Swedish race driver Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky, but they broke up before he moved up to Red Bull in 2016.
Joyce Godefridi
In 2016, Max reportedly dated Belgian content creator Joyce Godefridi when he was 18 years old. Though they exchanged flirty comments and likes on Instagram, neither of them confirmed their relationships status.
Roos van der Aa
In September 2016, Max was rumored to start dating Roos van der Aa.
Maxime Pourquie
At the beginning of the 2017 race season, it was rumored that Max was dating Dutch hockey player Maxime Pourquie. The two had been photographed together several times, and were even both tagged in photos on social media.
Joëlle Witschge
In October 2017, it was rumored that Max was dating model Joëlle Witschge, however, she shut down those rumors.
“Max and I know each other through mutual friends. Telegraaf then picked this up and ran the headline: ‘Is this Max‘s new girlfriend?’ with a bikini photo and I got really strange reactions from ‘golddigger’ and ‘he is much younger’ and I really thought, what is this?” she said on the Expeditie Robinson YouTube channel.
Dilara Sanlik
Max started dating Dilara Sanlik towards the end of 2017, and the pair dated for a couple years. He revealed in 2020 that they had split up, but did not disclose any other details.
Kelly Piquet
Max is currently dating Kelly Piquet!
The couple started dating in 2020 before going Instagram official on January 1, 2021. Kelly has been in attendance at many of Max‘s races ever since and has been by his side for several wins too, including the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix win pictured here.
Kelly is no stranger to Formula 1 as her father is three-time Drivers’ Champion Nelson Piquet. Her brothers Pedro and Nelson Jr are also race car drivers.
