Why Is Jagger Focusing Only On Jason, When There Were Two Suspects In The Drone Footage?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors pose the question, why is FBI Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) only focusing on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as a suspect?

There were two suspects in the confiscated drone footage, Jason and the sniper Hamish (Chris Gunn) who was actually holding the rifle-does Jagger have a vendetta against Jason too?

General Hospital Spoilers – The Vendetta Against Sonny Corinthos Is Obvious

The vendetta Cates has against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is obvious-he hasn’t made any argument about that, and the argument they had about Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson) proves it.

He’s totally ignoring the sniper with the rifle and homing in on capturing Jason-and years ago, they were high school friends, he and Jason and Karen were.

They were even trapped on an island together for a time-but that was when he was Jason Quartermaine.

It almost seems like Cates doesn’t care about bringing in the person who did the shooting-he’s already acting like judge and jury over Jason.

He’s made it quite clear to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that Jason is to be arrested, not just brought in for questioning!

GH Spoilers – John “Jagger” Cates Would Know About Jason Quartermaine’s History

Jagger would know about Jason’s history, and how he became Jason Morgan and Sonny’s enforcer after the accident where he got his brain injury.

Jason was originally going to follow in Alan and Monica Quartermaine’s (Stuart Damon, Leslie Charleson) footsteps and was going to medical school, and it seems he’s retained some of that knowledge.

Jason knew exactly what to do at the scene when Hamish shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) even though he didn’t notice his own bullet wound until later.

It can easily be guessed that Jagger may have turned on Jason after his affiliation with Sonny, and that he would naturally consider him a criminal and a thug.

General Hospital Spoilers – He’s Only Interested In Jason Morgan

It seems obvious Cates is only interested in Jason Morgan, even Anna didn’t ask about Hamish-perhaps Cates is going for the boss only, sure Jason’s the boss.

The clues given so far were the boss was someone presumed dead, and from Li, (Samuel Wang) they knew he goes by “Stone”. Cates knows that Jason’s nickname-at least by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is “Stone Cold”.

It seems he’s going by that and that alone, and it’s nothing to do with his late brother Michael “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton). The “Stone” seems to Cates to be part of “Stone Cold” and he’s not investigating any further-he thinks he’s got him.
