Team-mates and staff clashed with rivals from Al-Ain after Monday’s dramatic penalty shootout in the quarters.

Al-Nassr won 4-3 on the night after losing the first leg 1-0, sending the game to extra time.

Neither side could find an ultimate breakthrough, with Ronaldo left reeling from an awful miss inside the six yard box.

Al-Nassr were also lucky to be left with 11 men on the pitch as Mane was seized by a moment of madness.

With 20 minutes still to go, he grabbed Saeed Juma by the throat before escaping with just a yellow card.

But the Saudi side did end up with 10 men during extra time, with Ayman Yahya dismissed for a wild challenge.

The match then went to dreaded spot-kicks, but Ronaldo was the only Al-Nassr star to hit the target as Al-Ain won the shootout 3-1.

The United Arab Emirates side robustly defended their victory against their moneybags Saudi rivals.

And it caused a big ruckus to break out on the pitch between players and staff.

Incredible video footage shows the moment Al-Nassr and Al-Ain clashed near the centre-circle.

There was plenty of pushing and shoving between several people.

One Al-Nassr star was seen being held back by teammates as he tried to get at a rival.

While more shoves were exchanged by members of staff entering the tunnel.

Ronaldo could be seen trying to play peacemaker as he urged pals to calm down.

The former Manchester United star had already been left reeling from an awful miss inside the six yard box.

And Al-Nassr boss Luis Castro lamented his side’s wasted chances after coming close to making the semis.

He said: “Football justice was not with us. We practiced penalties and the players have the responsibility to take them.

“Individual mistakes are our responsibility, including injuries and suspensions.
