How has LeBron’s presence impacted Bronny’s play?
During USC’s 81-73 victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils, Los Angeles Lakers All-Star forward LeBron James was spotted court-side decked out in USC merchandise to support Bronny, along with his wife Savannah.
Bronny played just 16 minutes for the Trojans, recording two assists, one rebound, and one steal.
The freshman has still struggled to find his footing on a troubled Trojans squad, as with the team being just 13-17 and dealing with frequent injuries, they’ve never found a rhythm, bouncing around different starting lineups and rotations.
For James, it’s safe to say his cardiac arrest bout back in July is also making a huge impact on his overall play, as well as his confidence on the floor. Dealing with something like that during such a pivotal time of your life has to be an unimaginably difficult situation, and him returning at all is incredibly impressive.
For the Trojans, they take on No. 5 Arizona at home tonight to cap off their regular season. Finding some momentum after a season of struggle, they’ll look to enter the Pac-12 Tournament on the right foot, with a chance to make some noise in a conference with tremendous parity.
