Rodgers will play his 20th season in the NFL in 2024.

The 40-year-old had attempted to play the past season despite suffering what would be a season-ending injury in the Jets’ Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Last week, Rodgers appeared on UFC commentator Eddie Bravo’s Look Into It Podcast.

The NFL star revealed an update on the status of his recovery process.

“[I’ve] really been in a good place rehab-wise from the start and [I’m] feeling really good,” Rodgers said.

The 10-time Pro Bowler then dropped a claim regarding his retirement timeline.

“I’m hopeful I can play two, three, or four more years,” Rodgers.

He added, “But you need to have some good fortune there too.”

It was revealed last week from Ian O’Connor, sportswriter and the author of Rodgers’ biography ‘Out of the Darkness.’ that the four-time MVP “looks pretty jacked in the upper body” as he prepares for the 2024 season.

The Jets will look to add a backup quarterback after the team’s 7-10 finish in 2023.

Zach Wilson took over the starting role following Rodgers’ injury in Week 1 and went on to have a disappointing season.
