Willow And Nina’s Last Chance-Can The Mom And Daughter Relationship Be Saved?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease there may be one last chance for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to reconcile.

Willow was just starting to bond with her birth mom when everything blew up about the SEC secret-she likely won’t save her marriage, but can the mother-daughter relationship be saved?

General Hospital Spoilers – What Could’ve Happened, But Didn’t

Willow needed space from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) too, after finding out he’d also kept secrets-perhaps worse ones than Nina.

Nina actually wasn’t wrong to report Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) insider trading, they were guilty-Carly more than Drew, but her motivation to do so was wrong.

Not only that, the timing was terrible because the SEC Feds descended on Carly right after Drew left for Greenland to rescue Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Willow could have died if Drew had been arrested then and wasn’t able to get Liesl back to Port Charles in time to donate her bone marrow.

What could have happened, didn’t, so maybe even though Drew had a rough time in Pentonville, Willow may consider it could have been worse-her children could have lost their mother.

GH Spoilers – Appreciating Through Nearly Losing Someone

Nina’s not having any luck getting through to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and doesn’t even know fully the danger he’s in-Ava Jerome (Maura West) hasn’t told her much.

Ava knows that Nina might panic and go looking for either her or Sonny at the wrong time and the wrong place, and be hurt.

That could be exactly what happens later in the week of March 5, with Nina cornering Ava on March 8; the danger is not nearly over yet.

If Nina were to get caught in the crossfire of someone trying to take down Ava, like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) did she could be seriously hurt and even near death.

There’s nothing like almost losing someone forever to make you appreciate them or appreciate them more, and that might be what turns Willow back towards her birth mom.

General Hospital Spoilers – More Than One Way This Could Play Out

Willow’s already lost the mom who raised her when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) died but she gave Willow nightmares when she went through her own near-death experience.

It could play out that Nina may do something heroic, putting her life in danger, for instance jumping in front of a bullet headed for Willow or one of Nina’s grandchildren.

It’s already been proven Nina’s family has some heroism genes, with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) fending off the Hook and saving Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life, and then there’s Liesl’s sacrifice.

If something like that happened, whether Nina’s life is in danger by playing hero or just being in the wrong place at the wrong time like Curtis, Willow may think twice.

She’s already lost her illegally adoptive mother and her sister, although they hated each other-and she might see Nina differently.

Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now. Come back here often for General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates.
