🚨 Daniel’s Dark Spiral Drags Two Helpless Residents Into D.E.A.D.L.Y Danger! 😱

Coronation Streetā€˜s Daniel Osbourne has been going through a difficult time in recent weeks, following the revelation that his girlfriend Megan Walsh had been grooming Will Driscoll. The disgraced teacher then became the target of a vicious online hate campaign, led by his new friend Jodie Ramsey.

Though Jodie eventually shut down the account, it was soon replaced by a copycat troll named ā€˜TruthTeller2’, causing Daniel’s mental health to worsen. And in upcoming episodes, Daniel turns to alcohol to drown his sorrows, resulting in major consequences for everyone involved.

Next week, Daniel prepares to return to work after his recent suspension. He is given a ā€˜Best Teacher’ mug from his son Bertie, but when the gift is broken by Lily Platt, he storms out of the school and heads to the pub.

After having a few too many drinks, angry Daniel loiters around the precinct where he bumps into Megan. Will he lose his temper as he confronts his evil ex?

ā€œWell he’s definitely got form, hasn’t he? He’s lost his head and lashed out at people before and it’s always an interesting aspect to his character,ā€ said Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel.

ā€œSo I would say, yeah, she could be in trouble. He’s done a lot of work over the years to kind of quieten that side of himself but things like this just bring it straight back to the surface.ā€

Later, Daniel returns to his flat where he continues to torture himself by reading the nasty online comments. But when Jodie accidentally exposes herself as the troll, furious Daniel throws her out.

Speaking about the ā€œmoment of complete betrayalā€, Mallard explained that Daniel ā€œknew he shouldn’t have trustedā€ Jodie from the start. He shared how Jodie’s actions will affect his trust in women, hinting that she could face his wrath.

ā€œI think there was that kind of vague hope where you think, well, what are the chances that she’s another wrong ā€˜un, of all the bad things that have just happened to me, what are the chances that she’s also going to be bad?

ā€œI think this will be the endpoint of his trust in women. He’s been betrayed so many times now, ever since his mum left him. Bar Sinead he’s not made the best choices so Jodie should watch out.ā€
