Frankly, Liverpool are really fortunate to have a goalkeeper of Alisson’s caliber between the sticks.

Gary Lineker and Danny Murphy were impressed by Alisson Becker’s goalkeeping ability throughout the first half of the match at the Emirates Stadium.

The hosts dominated the first 45 minutes, but were unable to convert any of their several chances into a goal.

“It almost feels as if you have to hit an absolute perfect strike to beat Alisson – he’s that good,” Danny Murphy said during BBC Sport’s coverage of the FA Cup third round match.

Gary Lineker concurred, saying, “He’s a wonderful goalkeeper, isn’t he?”

Alisson Becker appeared to have fewer jobs during the second half as Liverpool began to overpower Arsenal.

Despite having 18 shots, the Gunners failed to find Alisson Becker’s net at Emirates Stadium.

The Brazilian international has continued to impress this season, keeping six clean sheets in 2023/24.
