Margot Robbie broke down in tears on Sunday as she pleaded with fans to donate whatever they could to the victims of the devastating Australian bushfires.
Ahead of the Golden Globes, Margot, 29, took to Instagram to share a number of rarely seen childhood photographs from her family’s farm in rural Queensland.
‘I’m sure you’re all aware of what is happening in Australia at the moment with the fires. I didn’t want to show you more pictures of the devastation,’ said Margot.

While filming herself talking, a tearful Margot continued: ‘I really wanted to share with you some personal photos from my childhood.’
She then focused her camera on several photo albums in her lap, showing herself having fun in rural Australia as a youngster in the 1990s.
Pointing to one picture, Margot said: ‘This is my cousin and I out at the farm in Australia growing up… This is making mud pies. Riding motorbikes.’

‘This is me learning to drive… out at the farm,’ she said, pointing to another shot.
Margot explained she was doing this to show fans just how beautiful Australia is, and also how much the country needs help right now.
The star was born and raised in Dalby, Queensland. She went on to star in Australian soap Neighbours in 2008, and has since moved to Los Angeles.
