Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 world champion, shattered several records during his all-conquering 2023 F1 season. He was in tremendous form throughout the campaign and was able to score a highly impressive nineteen Grand Prix wins. While he wracked up wins for fun, he was also able to amass a truckload of money.
Max Verstappen is easily one of the highest earners at the pinnacle of motor racing. His normal salary for the 2023 F1 season was $45 Million but adding the bonuses($25 Million) that he amassed for scoring several victories, his total earning for this year was a whopping $70 Million.
Moreover, as per the Forbes 2023 F1 list, Verstappen was the highest earner among F1 drivers this year. Keeping in view how dominant he proved to be behind the wheel of Red Bulls RB19, it does not come as a huge surprise that the young Dutchman wracked up the most bucks.
During the recently concluded campaign, Max Verstappen alongside his nineteen Grand Prix wins, managed to amass a huge total of 575 points and was able to see himself on the podium 21 times. He wrapped up the driver’s championship during the Qatar Grand Prix weekend.
Max Verstappen’s new Red Bull deal will officially kick in from 2024 onward
While Max Verstappen was the highest earner at the pinnacle of motor racing this year, his income will increase by quite a decent amount from next year onward. The new five-year deal that Verstappen signed with Red Bull in 2022 will officially kick in from the start of the 2024 F1 season.

As per the new deal, it is believed that he will earn around $55 Million as a yearly salary and when his new deal was announced in 2022, Verstappen told the media;
I really enjoy being part of the Oracle Red Bull team, so choosing to stay to the 2028 season was an easy decision.
Max Verstappen has got everything going for him at the pinnacle of motor racing and while he is earning the big bucks, his goal still remains to be winning as many races as possible and trying to keep Red Bull’s dominant run going. Verstappen is seen by several as the driver to break Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher’s F1 record.
