Travis Kelce appears to have a preference when it comes to a couple name with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

While “Traylor” and “Tayvis” have made the rounds on social media, it seems the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has signed off on the couple name “Swelce.” No, literally.

On Saturday, Dec. 23, Kelce’s NFL team dropped an autographed jersey that featured the American athlete’s number: 87. However, instead of his last name, the jersey featured Swelce in the surname spot.

This is just the latest glimpse into Kelce’s “Love Story” with Swift, who he began dating earlier in 2023. As for what Kelce and Swift call each other? In November, the football star lovingly referred to the Grammy winner as “Tay” while recording an episode of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce.

Similarly, Swift was spotted shouting, “Come on, Trav,” during Kelce’s Dec. 3 game against the Green Bay Packers. Later in December, during an outing in Kansas City, Swift confirmed her pet name for Kelce by wearing a friendship bracelet that read “Trav.”

On navigating her new relationship in the public eye, Swift told TIME magazine in her cover story, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.”

Seemingly referring to her past private relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, Swift added, “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
