Britney Spears shows off her sculpted physique in TINY turquoise bikini… amid claims she has not reached out to dad Jamie for Christmas

Britney Spears is thinking about fun in the sun just a few days before Christmas.

The 42-year-old pop star – who reportedly wants to put her issues with sister Jamie Lynn Spears ‘to bed’ – took to her Instagram on Saturday to share sizzling bikini snaps of herself during a tropical getaway.

The cute clip, which features her song Get Naked, shows the singer rocking a turquoise blue bikini and pink shorts for a horseback riding excursion.

She concludes the post by posing with a man wearing a cowboy hat and writing, ‘Looks like an ex’s dad’.

The sizzling social media shares comes after reports of Britney’s plans to reconcile with her father Jamie Spears over the holidays appear dead in the water.

Jamie, who recently had his leg amputated, has not heard from Britney in the past fews days, making a family reunion unlikely at this point, according to TMZ.

The outlet’s source also said Jamie is planning on a holiday visit with his other daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears.

Britney and Jamie have had a huge falling out after she accused him of taking advantage of her conservatorship, which he was in charge of throughout its 13 years until its dissolution in November 2021.

A source told DailyMail that Britney will ‘never’ reconcile with her estranged father, even in the wake of his ailing health and leg amputation, as she refuses to forgive the man who ‘hurt her’ in ways that are ‘not imaginable.’

‘There is no chance, ever, that Britney will reconcile with her dad,’ the insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘He hurt her in ways not imaginable and, regardless of what happens to his health, she will never forgive the man, dead or alive.’

In her latest memoir, “The Woman in Me,” Britney extensively recounted the ‘abuse’ she endured from her ‘alcoholic’ father over the course of several years.

She asserted that he closely monitored her every action, viewing her solely as the family’s ‘financial resource.’

Additionally, she alleged that in 2018, her father coerced her into another rehabilitation program by threatening legal action, warning that she would appear ‘an idiot’ if she declined.

Jamie opened up about Britney during an interview with The Mail on Sunday last year, claiming he thought she might lose her life if she hadn’t been placed under a conservatorship.

‘Not everybody’s going to agree with me,’ he said. ‘It’s been one hell of a time. But I love my daughter with all my heart and soul. Where would Britney be right now without that conservatorship? And I don’t know if she’d be alive. I don’t.

The news comes a day after Britney is said to be ready to bury the hatchet with her little sister, Jamie Lynn.

The pop star, 42, appears to be channeling ‘peace on earth and goodwill to all men’ after she watched Jamie Lynn’s recent stint on I’m a Celeb and realized there’s no better time for a reconciliation than the holidays, according to The Sun.

‘Britney was supportive of Jamie Lynn going into the jungle and she kept across her time in Australia with some interest,’ an insider told the news source on Friday.

‘A lot of water has passed under that bridge and given it is Christmas, Britney is keen to try and put some of their past issues to bed.’

The alleged olive branch comes a few weeks after Britney celebrated her birthday with mom Lynn Spears after the pair were estranged for years following the singer’s  fallout with the family over her 13-year conservatorship.

‘Britney has said she’d like to meet up with Jamie Lynn if they could make it happen,’ The Sun’s source continued. ‘She spent time with her mum in the summer and now she’d like to see if she could do the same with Jamie Lynn.’

The insider added: ‘They are sisters at the end of the day and even though they’ve had their fair share of run-ins over the years, it is time to finally see if they can put their past to rest.’

As for Jamie Lynn, the actress said little of Britney while a contestant on I’m a Celeb, but when she did speak out about her old sibling, it was ‘all totally positive and glowing’, per the source.

Britney and Jamie have had a complicated relationship growing up as a famous family and later having to deal with Britney’s strict conservatorship imposed by her father.

Britney had been putting Jamie Lynn on blast as recently as January this year when she slammed her for saying ‘it was hard’ being her sibling.

In a July interview with Variety, Jamie Lynn said she has ‘absolute love’ for Britney but admitted that the backlash she received from the ‘Free Britney’ movement as well as her big sister’s scathing posts were ‘hard’ for her to deal with.

Going back further in January 2022 Jamie Lynn claimed in her tell-all book that her sister Britney once locked them in a room together while holding a knife.

In the book, Things I Should Have Said, the mother-of-two also claimed that Britney’s behaviour over the years has been, ‘erratic, paranoid and spiraling.’

Trans men and lesbians would get IVF priority two years ahead of heterosexual couples under NHS plan – as campaigners slam proposals as  ‘grossly discriminatory’

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples. Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women. This means they will be immediately eligible for IVF on the NHS – costing an estimated £5,000 a cycle – if they meet the other criteria, such as a body mass index between 19 and 30, not smoking, being under 43 and not having a partner with a child from a previous relationship.
