Name a more dynamic team than Swifties and Kansas City Chiefs fans. Thanks to the two loyal fanbases, it is getting easier than ever to reverse-engineer the pregame outfits worn by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The Chiefs travel to take on the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon, and Kelce arrived at Gillette Stadium wearing an all-black ensemble. With the help of the Chiefs’ social media team, we can see that Kelce is repeating the same outfit for a second consecutive day (a routine he often practices for road games).
As we can see from the Instagram post above, Kelce is wearing Nike apparel from head to toe. The NFL All-Pro tight end wore a black Nike Sportswear Tech Fleece shirt-jacket and matching pants. Best of all, Kelce combined it with a pair of retro LeBron James sneakers.
Kelce, an Ohio native, regularly shows love to James by wearing his signature Nike sneakers. Below is everything athletes and fans must know about the old-school kicks worn by Kelce this weekend.
Nike LeBron 2 ‘Beast’
A detailed look at the Nike LeBron 2.
Nike
Kelce wore the Nike LeBron 2 in the ‘Beast’ colorway. The retro basketball shoes were re-released on November 16, 2023. Online shoppers can purchase the sneakers for $250 on the Nike website. However, most sizes are available well below the retail price on sneaker resale websites like GOAT and StockX.
The sneakers are based on a 2014 player-exclusive colorway that was never released to the public. The colorway sports more premium materials, including a faux hairy upper in a mix of cheetah and zebra prints. Longtime fans of James are familiar with this recurring theme in the Nike LeBron sneaker line.
Luckily for Taylor Swift fans, they can choose between several Kelce jerseys and apparel (including “Karma is my tight end” shirts) at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Stay locked into FanNationKicks.com for all of your most important footwear news from around the NFL and sports world.
