Wack 100 thought he could catch 50 Cent slipping on the West Coast and impress his crew. But when he rolled up with about fifteen goons, he found out real quick that 50 moved like a private army. Wack walked into that hotel bar ready to fight, but he walked out with his tail between his legs while 50 just smiled at him. It all started years earlier when Wack was still rolling with Suge Knight and Death Row Records.
Game was beefing with Suge over his deal with Dr. Dre, and one day Wack got a call that Game was surrounded in the street. A whole street full of dudes was ready to jump him. Wack pulled up and saw Game with four or five people behind him.
Suge pulled up too, and Wack made sure the situation didn’t pop off. Everybody left, but Wack hung back and chopped it up with Game. They shook hands and came to an understanding. About five months later, Wack started managing an artist named Stacy Adams and wanted Game to do a feature.
Wack knew Game’s head of security, a dude from Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods named TwoT’s, so he called him up and set up a meeting at the studio. Game gave Wack ten thousand dollars out of his own pocket and did the feature for free. That’s how Wack started managing him. On the track, Game even rapped about it: “That nigga Wack got my number and came through.
He walked in the booth where I was spitting. Gave him 10,000. Couldn’t even finish his sentence. I ain’t owe him nothing but real recognize real.
”
Game and Wack got tight, and Wack tried to back him up during the 50 Cent beef. 50 had kicked Game out of G-Unit years earlier, and after a shootout in New York, they’d been sending shots at each other in the booth. Everyone knew 50 survived getting shot nine times, but Wack still thought he could check him when 50 came to LA. Wack got a call from one of his homies and found out which hotel 50 was staying at.
It was the SLS, right by the Beverly Center. Wack rode up with about fifteen goons. They walked into the hotel bar expecting to put hands on 50. But when they got inside, they found out 50’s security was like a Navy SEAL team.
Dudes in bulletproof vests with guns and radios in their ears. Wack realized he and his crew weren’t walking out alive if things popped off. So instead of sparking the fight, he and his homies just walked out while 50 smiled at him. The next time Wack ran into 50, he tried to squash the beef.
One night, Game wanted to get into a club, but the owner wouldn’t let him in because 50 had a clause in his contract that said if Game got in, they’d have to pay double the rate. Wack came down, talked to the owner, then chopped it up with 50. 50 told the owner to let Game and his crew inside. Everything was cool.
Later that night, they ended up at the same strip club, and Game decided he wanted to talk to 50 face to face. Wack went up to 50’s head of security, a terrifying dude named Monster, and set up a conversation right there in the middle of the strip club. 50 and Game spoke for about fifteen minutes, and it looked like everything was good. But a few weeks later, they started beefing on social media again.
Monster was 50’s head of security for a long time, but there’s almost no information out there about him. He moved lowkey and didn’t want his face everywhere. There’s even footage of him covering his face at the airport so paparazzi couldn’t get a good look at him. Around the same time 50 and Game met up in the club, Monster put hands on a couple of photographers in Copenhagen who were camping outside 50’s hotel.
According to reports, Monster grabbed one photographer by the throat, took his camera, and started deleting photos. The photographer was so hurt he went straight to the hospital. But now there are rumors going around that Monster and 50 fell out, and the situation might turn deadly. One rumor says Monster always put his life on the line for 50 but didn’t feel like he was getting paid enough.
So Monster allegedly took one meal from 50 and told him to get it back in blood. There’s no proof to back the story up though. Other sources claim Monster just retired in the South and lives down there with his family now. Monster wasn’t the only scary dude in 50’s crew.
One of the scariest was a dude named Maserati Fox. He got the name Fox because people were always trying to kill him, but he always made it out like a fox. A real street dude who rapped a little too. 50 and Prodigy helped Maserati get a record deal worth a million, but the deal was taking too long to go through.
So Maserati surrounded the record label building with about a hundred goons to press them about it. He had the whole building surrounded. 50 was beefing with Jimmy Henchman back then, a dude who was almost like the Suge Knight of the East Coast. People were terrified of him because he was the guy who got Tupac shot in New York.
Jimmy Henchman was Game’s manager before Wack started working with him. One day, 50’s homies Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks smacked up Jimmy Henchman’s son. Jimmy sent a bunch of goons to kill 50 after a video shoot, but they couldn’t do the drill. So instead, they shot up Tony Yayo’s mom’s house.
Then after Lloyd Banks came home from jail, Henchman’s goons shot him to death in the street. Jimmy Henchman caught a life sentence for paying for the hit. But before he got booked, Maserati Fox spotted him at the Apollo Theater and pulled a gun on him. Tony Yayo said Maserati Fox could turn anybody into a shooter and was always ready to crash out.
That’s what ended up getting him killed though. Back in 98, Maserati and his homies got into a taxi and hit the streets. Maserati spotted some dudes he had beef with, so he told the driver to pull over and hopped out to press them. He got into an argument and came back to the cab.
Then he told his homies they violated him and to pop that dude. Maserati and his homies popped out and started shooting. Bullets flew all over the place, and one of them caught an innocent dude named Curtis Scott in the head and killed him. Curtis’s brother, Jamal Scott, heard the shots and ran outside.
He spotted his brother laying dead on the ground. Maserati Fox spent the next sixteen years in and out of jail and allegedly got shot at least five different times. 50 Cent tried to help him make it in the rap game, but Maserati never stopped crashing out. When Maserati’s own stepdaughter was shot and killed while riding the bus in Queens, 50 stepped in and paid for the funeral.
In 2014, Maserati came home from another sentence and was sitting in a car with his homies. What Maserati didn’t know was that Curtis’s brother Jamal was hunting him. While Maserati was sitting in the car, Jamal Scott walked up and allegedly started dumping shots inside. Maserati got hit and stumbled out of the car, but he could barely move.
He fell to the street and died right there. Most of 50’s crew moved like they were a real army. After 50 signed a deal with Dr. Dre, everyone on the label had to start moving different.
Bizarre from D12 said they all started wearing bulletproof vests and riding in bulletproof cars because they were really in some stuff. They had to move like the military. They didn’t really have to worry about that before 50, but after he linked up with Dre, the street stuff got real quick. 50 wasn’t going to back down from anyone.
Even when Suge Knight rolled up to his video shoot with thirty goons. Suge and Dr. Dre had serious beef after Dre left Death Row and started his own label. So when Dre signed 50 Cent, Suge rolled up to where they were shooting the video and tried to press him.
Bizarre said someone came in screaming that Suge Knight was outside. People started freaking out and running away, but 50 Cent just walked right up to Suge and said, “What’s up? ” Suge realized 50 wasn’t going to let him play him like that, so he and his whole crew just dipped without saying a word. A couple years later, Suge got stabbed by 50’s crew at the Vibe Awards.
Dr. Dre was about to go on stage to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award when a dude named Jimmy Johnson ran up and tried to swing on Dre. Suge allegedly paid Jimmy five thousand dollars to put hands on Dre. But 50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit were always ready for smoke.
Right after Jimmy Johnson tried to hit Dre, 50’s artist Young Buck jumped in and stabbed Jimmy so badly it collapsed one of his lungs. 50 has beefed with some of the scariest dudes in the streets and the rap game and somehow always comes out on top. And there’s a reason why dudes like Wack 100 think twice before trying to check him.
