NBA YoungBoy was finally free. He’d been locked down for years, locked up, on house arrest, facing charges, and couldn’t tour anywhere. Every city he wanted to touch was blocked. But when he announced his comeback tour, the tickets sold out so fast his team had to keep adding more dates.
He still had millions of fans who wanted to see him. But he also had a target on his back, and in city after city, people were waiting on him. The first sign of trouble came in Chicago. He was supposed to headline the United Center.
His history there ran deep, all the way back to 2020, when King Von and YoungBoy were tangled up in drama. After Von got killed, dudes from O’Block burned 4K Trey flags and made it plain: YoungBoy should stay out of their city. He didn’t back down, though. At every show, he closed with “I Hate YoungBoy,” a track that went straight at Von and O’Block, with the line, “How you talking shit when nothing ain’t died about your cousin?

Quando Rondo had no filter about it either. He made it clear they weren’t gonna let that slide. “Clean up on O. Young and let that chop blow and my brother let that stick blow.
”
When fans found out YoungBoy was scheduled for Chicago, people braced for the worst. Rumors spread that United Center told him he could do the show as long as he didn’t play “I Hate YoungBoy. ” YoungBoy refused to change his setlist, so they called the whole concert off. Some young dudes from O’Block were reportedly talking about shooting up the venue if he showed.
Crashed out the United Center would’ve been crazy. But that wasn’t the only drama that touched his tour. A little while later, at a show in New Jersey, a Durk fan showed up and yelled, “Free Durk. ” According to rumors, some of OG3’s homies were walking right behind him.
One of them punched the Durk fan in the head. Then another one jumped in and put hands on him, too. And allegedly, they handed him a wristband so he could go backstage. When he went back there, he got jumped again by even more dudes.
YoungBoy hadn’t dropped any new diss on Lil Durk in a while, but while he was locked up, he was allegedly fighting people over it,. Terrence Gangster Williams, Burman’s brother, said YoungBoy knocked out a dude in prison who was repping F. It was a guy from Mississippi, who yelled out, “Free young boy say, you F,” as he passed by. YoungBoy told him, “I’m trying to get with that.
Find a sale. ” They went to the sale. YoungBoy hit him with a two-piece and dropped him. A couple weeks after Chicago got cancelled, his Detroit show got shut down at the last minute, too.
He’d sold out Little Caesars Arena. But a few days before he was supposed to come through, the arena put out a statement and said the show wasn’t happening. No reason given. No explanation.
Just cancelled. That wasn’t the first time Detroit caused him problems, though. Back in 2020, Sada Baby ran into YoungBoy’s brother, OG3, at a mall in Houston. It wasn’t clear exactly what went down, but Sada Baby posted a video dissing the whole NBA crew, saying stuff like, “Quit playing with me around this shit.
We ain’t nowhere near Detroit. We down here in they shit and hoes. What is you talking about? NBA soft ass niggas ain’t on nothing down to this shit.
Caught your big homie lacking in the mall. ”
Sada Baby was also cool with Fredo Bang and some of YoungBoy’s other ops in Baton Rouge, and the beef just fed off that. After Sada Baby dissed him, a dude from FPG named Baba allegedly caught Sada Baby lacking at a studio in Atlanta and robbed him. YoungBoy dropped the track “Carter Son” and rapped,”I can’t say I’m cool with all this involvement.
These niggas ain’t right and they balling. I don’t give a fuck. No, I call up Osama, my baba. Like, load up and come and rob all them.
”
Baba allegedly put in a lot of work and got locked up on an attempted murder charge. YoungBoy shouted him out again on “I Hate YoungBoy,” rapping,”Ain’t got no mind. Tell him free Baba, that’s my evil twin. ”
Then in 2022, a video went around where OG3 was pouring lean into YoungBoy’s mouth, and Sada Baby dissed him about that, too.
YoungBoy never responded to Sada Baby again, and it looked like the beef cooled off. But Detroit still pulled the plug on his show without saying why. A couple weeks later, YoungBoy performed at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. That show sold out, too.
He was supposed to do another concert in the city a couple days later, but then that arena cancelled that one as well. Some fans thought State Farm didn’t want him performing “I Hate YoungBoy” because he dissed Gucci and Lil Baby on that track. He rapped,”Used to fuck with Gucci till I seen like them niggas. Mama know I’m ruthless.
Talking stupid make me bust a move,” and toward Lil Baby,”Know I keep that nine with me. You can act like that. You don’t know baby. With him.
Fo firing. Want me to die? Tell that nigga cross the line. ”
The beef with Gucci and Lil Baby never really popped off, though.
So nobody really knew why the second Atlanta show got cancelled. But even without the show, his fans threw a massive party in the streets, and the cops were all over the place, trying to keep the peace. What made the Atlanta situation even crazier was during the first show, YoungBoy was given the key to the city. It looked like Atlanta was really rocking with him.
Then the city put out a statement and said he wasn’t actually given the key at all. The people who gave it to him were representatives from Fulton County, not the city itself. They didn’t have the power to hand out a key to Atlanta. The last time a rapper actually got the key to the city was back in 2004, when they gave it to Ludacris for charity work he started.
But according to rumors, the real reason YoungBoy’s second Atlanta show got cancelled was because his crew got into a fight with security at the arena. Some sources claimed there was an issue at the VIP entrance, and YoungBoy’s crew started throwing hands with the security team. There was no real evidence to back the story up, though. Either way, the show was off.
Chicago and Atlanta were messy, but they didn’t compare to the smoke he had in Louisiana. That was his oldest, deadliest beef. And that’s why New Orleans brought in a whole army of cops for his shows down there. New Orleans is only a couple hours away from Baton Rouge.
That’s where it all started. YoungBoy came up in the trenches rocking with a crew called TBG. TBG had rappers like G Money and Fredo Bang, but they were also putting in work in the streets, beefing with another crew called BBG. YoungBoy had family ties to BBG because his cousin Boozilla repped them.
After YoungBoy left TBG, he started rocking with Boozilla, and he and G Money started sending shots back and forth in the studio. Music disses, real-life tension, it all simmered. But what really turned the beef up was when Boozilla got shot and killed back in 2016. Rumors said a crew called Forever Loyalty pulled the trigger on Boozilla.
Forever Loyalty was tied with TBG. On the day Boozilla died, YoungBoy and his homies slid on the ops and shot at a couple of them. The ops busted back and hit NBA Joe in the neck. YoungBoy got booked for attempted murder.
While he was fighting the case, TBG kept dissing him. When he came home, he dropped”Ride on Em” and went straight at G Money’s throat:
“I heard a nigga said, ‘What? You know what it is, boy? You going to get your head bust trying to stunt for real.
These niggas making diss songs. Come on now, boy. Be real. Aye, YoungBoy, be the reason that your dog killed.
I speak this shit. I live this shit. We do this shit for real. ”
G Money kept dissing right back.
He even bragged he’d hooked up with YoungBoy’s sister, trolling him about it. “He mad about his sister, too, though. How about his sister? Yeah, I had her a long time ago.
” G Money went live on IG to keep the pressure on. But a few hours later, he got killed in the exact same spot. YoungBoy’s homie NBA Lil Pap got booked for the murder. But rumors said YoungBoy’s manager, Big Dump, was the one who paid for the hit.
And a few months after G Money died, TBG slid on Big Dump and left him dead in the street. Fredo Bang and Boulevard Quick were still sending shots at YoungBoy. Then Boulevard Quick got shot and killed, too. After that, Boulevard Quick’s homie, Yoshi, fully crashed out and tried to kill YoungBoy outside his hotel in Miami.
The beef cooled off for a while after that. Fredo Bang even told DJ Vlad that he and YoungBoy had gotten on the phone together. “We talked. It was basically us talking.
Like I say, it’s never been a problem. Social media hype stuff up. I might say some of my song, he might say some of his song. Sometimes, as artists, we might try to challenge each other.
But it was more so of us showing that it’s never been a problem from the start. We just don’t talk to each other. We got history. But it’s never been a problem.

But it didn’t seem fully squashed, because a few months later, YoungBoy dissed G Money again. The cops in Louisiana knew his drama in Baton Rouge could easily follow him to New Orleans. So before he even got to the city, they brought in 400 city cops, mounted officers, tactical units, armored vehicles, and federal police, too. They weren’t taking any chances.
After the first New Orleans show, a video went viral showing YoungBoy getting chased down the street, having to be pulled out of there by the cops. There was also a report about a shooting inside the arena that night. It looked like somebody had really pulled up and tried to take him out. But the cops said the shooting was a false alarm.
Nothing actually happened. Fredo Bang wasn’t at the show, but he posted about it anyway. He said it was beautiful to see the whole city and state come together, even though YoungBoy was dissing them. “I love to see whole city and state come together.
You feel me? It was beautiful. Even though most of the shit they was singing was dissing me, but you know it was really beautiful. ”
A lot of fans thought Fredo was just trolling.
But luckily, the situation didn’t pop off in New Orleans. Nothing violent jumped off at the shows. But YoungBoy’s manager claimed that a cop named Lieutenant Kirkpatrick was trying to ban YoungBoy from ever performing in Louisiana again. And the drama kept following him.
In Miami, the problem was Kodak Black. Kodak and YoungBoy had been beefing on and off for years. But in July 2025, Yak sparked it back up when he said YoungBoy’s new album was trash. “I just heard an album that was shit.
I don’t even like it. I like YoungBoy. That shit pass. ”
Then Yak started dissing him even harder, claiming YoungBoy had hooked up with Yak’s ex, Melo Racks, and gave her herpes.
That night in Miami, Yak flew in on a helicopter, and a bunch of his fans partied outside YoungBoy’s concert, screaming “Team Kodak. “”
Kodak and YoungBoy didn’t run into each other in Miami, but it was clear Yak still wanted smoke with him. YoungBoy dropped some of the craziest diss tracks in the rap game while he was locked down on house arrest. He took shots at people all over the country from his own living room.
And now that he’s finally free, with sold out shows and cities pulling the plug left and right, it’s probably only a matter of time before someone really tries to get at him. . The target on his back keeps growing bigger every city he touches.
And nobody knows when the next show might be the one where it all finally pops off.
