According to Guinness World Records, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has surpassed the $1 billion mark in revenue, becoming the highest-grossing music tour in history.
Announced by Guinness World Records on December 12, Taylor Swift’s extremely popular Eras Tour officially broke the record for the highest-grossing music tour of all time. Up to now, Eras Tour is said to have earned 1.04 billion USD after only 9 months of taking place.
Before Taylor Swift’s achievement at age 33, 76-year-old Elton John held the record thanks to a series of farewell concerts, which ended in Sweden in July 2023 after five years and reportedly earned $939 million.
Eras Tour is a huge-scale tour to pay tribute to the golden moments in Taylor Swift’s illustrious 17-year career. The Eras Tour, which started in March and is expected to end in December next year, will be held in many European and Asian countries with a total of 151 shows.
