Though some early reports indicated she went to see the new Tomb Raider film, Twitter user Michael May wrote otherwise on the social media platform.
He claimed: ‘Just sat behind Angelina Jolie with 5 of her kids at the movies. Normal sunday things,’ and clarified in another tweet: ‘They saw LOVE, SIMON (not Tomb Raider).’
Angelina Jolie immortalized the role of Lara Croft in two Tomb Raider films, one in 2001 and the other in 2003.
In the new film, the character is played by Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander.
Angelina was photographed Sunday with her fraternal twins Knox and Vivienne, nine.
The Salt starlet is also mother to Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, and Shiloh, 11.

Swedish-born actress Alicia has taken over the fierce character in the 2018 reboot of the Tomb Raider series.
In an interview with the film’s distribution company Warner Bros, the Testament of Youth star – revealed: ‘I’ve been dreaming to be apart of a big action adventure film since I was a kid. I’ve wanted to push myself and in this film I really get to do that.’
Alicia continued: ‘Our story is very much an origin story… this film is about her becoming the hero that we know her to be.’
The screen star plays the lead with Predators’ actor Walton Goggins, Dominic West, and marital arts expert Daniel Wu.
The Ex Machina actress told E News that she is desperate to meet the former Lara Croft.
‘Angelina is a woman I would love to meet… she made an icon out of that character. She’s quite an incredible woman.’
Angelina raises her children with estranged husband Brad Pitt, who she filed for divorce from in September 2016 after 12 years together.
