And when asked who inspires her, the pinup said without missing a beat, ‘My mother, sisters, and daughter.’

Lopez’s mother is 73-year-old Guadalupe, who raised the A-list star in the Bronx.

And her sisters are 48-year-old Lynda Lopez, who has worked as a journalist and radio personality but now is employed by Jennifer, and Leslie, who is a homemaker.

The My Love Don’t Cost A Thing crooner had a tough time in her 20s when starting out in Hollywood, so she turned to her mom and sisters.

‘I leaned on my family,’ said the siren, whose breakout role was Selena.

She also said her most important role is being a mother to her two kids.

‘My kids always come first. That might mean that I am on an airplane more than I otherwise would be, or flying through the night, but it’s so important to be there and watch them grow up,’ said the Maid In Manhattan star.

And she is fine with her daughter Emme turning into a singer. ‘I want her to know she is limitless. Performing a duet with her on tour this Summer was such a proud moment for me as a mother, and I know she can accomplish anything if there is a passion behind it.’

Girls rule: Jennifer also said that the people who inspire her most are in her family: ‘ My mother, sisters, and daughter. ‘The strength I see in each and every one of them every day is what keeps me going’

‘When we started to think of the concept for my next perfume I kept going back to the phrase “a brand is a promise” something that Warren Buffet told me at dinner a few years back. Everything I put out in the world needs to be a promise, and I thought it was the perfect time in my life to name a fragrance Promise.

The Independent Spirit nominee also touched on her film Hustlers.

‘Filming Hustlers was such an empowering experience. It was a new kind of role for me, having to come out practically naked in front of a room full of crew and extra and dance, but putting yourself out there physically, emotionally and psychologically was liberating.

Working with Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart and Cardi B ‘was such a different, powerful experience than any other movie I have worked on. There was so much diversity both in front of and behind the camera which set the stage for us to bring this incredible story to life.’
