The red light turned green, but Pluto Two Times never moved. A car had pulled up behind him on North Cicero Avenue, and a man got out and walked straight to the driver’s window. Before Pluto could react, the shooter raised a gun and emptied it into the car. Pluto and the woman beside him were both hit, but they somehow managed to drive themselves to the hospital.

By the time they arrived, it was too late. Pluto had been shot in the head and chest. He was pronounced dead on arrival. For years, Pluto Two Times had been one of the most feared shooters on Chicago’s West Side.
He was the driving force behind a set called Ghost Mob, a conservative Vice Lord faction that had once gone by the names 4900 and TNG. They had been locked in a brutal war with rival sets like BTBG, Poppy Gang, and Teen Mob for as long as anyone could remember. But the violence didn’t really explode until 2017, when a member named Ghost was found shot to death in the middle of the street. Nobody was ever arrested for pulling the trigger, but it was rumored he was caught lacking during a drug deal.
It was after that death that the set adopted the name Ghost Mob, and Pluto became its most dangerous weapon. Pluto’s reputation had been building for years. Back in 2013, when he was still a freshman in high school, he allegedly caught his first body. According to police, Pluto and a friend got into a fight with a man named Antoine Baker over a cigarette.
The two started putting hands on Baker, and Pluto dropped a speaker on his head. Baker later died from an asthma attack. Both Pluto and his friend were arrested and charged with murder, facing trial as adults. Pluto could have been looking at life in prison, but then a huge break came during the trial.
The autopsy revealed that Baker had a lethal dose of heroin in his system when he died. He had a history of heroin-induced asthma attacks, and the medical examiner determined that nothing Pluto and his friend did would have killed him if he hadn’t already been full of heroin. Pluto’s friend beat the case completely. Pluto’s murder charge was dropped to involuntary manslaughter.
By 2016, he was back in the streets. That same year, Pluto allegedly caught another body, killing a member of a Four Corner Hustler set called Teen Mob. The beef between Teen Mob and Ghost Mob was one of the craziest in the city. Some claimed Pluto killed a Teen Mob member named Ty and left him dead in the street.
Around the same time, Ghost Mob took a loss when a member named Big Glow was killed by a Teen Mob member named Michael Dukes. Dukes was at a corner store on West Crystal when Big Glow walked in to buy a drink. As Big Glow was leaving, he said something to Dukes that set him off. Dukes followed him out and shot him six times.
Then, according to rumors, Dukes took Big Glow’s phone and messaged Big Glow’s mother, taunting her that he had killed her son. Ghost Mob wanted revenge. A few months later, Pluto allegedly slid on Teen Mob and killed another member named Pretty Four. Then, a few months before Ghost was killed, Pluto allegedly murdered another Teen Mob member named Sosa Curry.
Sosa was sitting in his car on the block when someone came up and shot him so many times in the head that he couldn’t have an open casket funeral. After Sosa was killed, Pluto posted on Facebook, writing, “Happy birthday, dead bitch. ” Then he took the disrespect even further and posted a video of himself stomping on Sosa Curry’s grave. Some sources say Sosa had killed a Ghost Mob member named Saquan before he died, and after Sosa was shot, Pluto posted messages claiming Sosa had told him he was going to kill him.
Teen Mob wasn’t the only set Pluto was putting pressure on. In 2018, he allegedly killed a member of Wii World named Too Hot. Many people said Too Hot didn’t even bang; he was just cool with dudes from the block. But that didn’t stop him from getting caught up in the war.
After Too Hot was killed, Pluto self-snitched like crazy, saying Too Hot tried to run from him but his pants were too tight and he fell down. Pluto was sliding on his ops constantly. In 2018, he allegedly caught another Teen Mob member named Lil Moo and shot him to death. Pluto was actually arrested for that murder, but the cops had to let him go because they didn’t have enough evidence to take it to trial.
After Pluto was killed a year later, Lil Moo’s family basically confirmed that Pluto was the one who killed him. In 2019, Pluto allegedly pulled the trigger on a BTBG member named Pistol P. Pistol P and his homies were hanging out around Iowa Street and Homeman Avenue at eleven in the morning, chilling on the block shooting dice. Then, out of nowhere, two cars pulled up and three shooters started blasting.
Four people were hit, but Pistol P was the only one who died. After the hit, Pluto’s homie Cody was caught on surveillance camera burning one of the cars they used. Cody was arrested for the murder, but he beat the case and nobody went down for it. Pluto was already one of the biggest shooters out west, but what happened in September 2019 made headlines all over the city.
Four of Pluto’s ops were standing outside a store on West Madison Street when someone pulled up and started shooting. The shooter dumped at least forty rounds and hit all four of them. Three of them were found lying dead in a pool of blood right outside the shop. Nobody knows for sure if Pluto was the shooter, but he was taunting the ops on Facebook, saying Ghost Mob had already caught twenty bodies just off Teen Mob.
At the same time, Pluto was hopping in the booth and rapping about the people he allegedly killed. On tracks like “Location,” he bragged about Sosa Curry and dissed Too Hot, spitting bars about catching bodies and telling his opps to show their location. He was running up decent numbers with the music, but he was way more focused on catching bodies than blowing up in the rap game. Just a couple of weeks after Pluto allegedly caught three bodies on the same day, he was stopped at a red light with a woman in his car on North Cicero Avenue.
Someone had spotted Pluto and was following him. When he stopped at the light, a shooter got out of the car behind him. Before Pluto could even react, the shooter walked up to his window and started dumping shots into the car. Pluto and the girl were both hit, but they somehow managed to drive themselves to the hospital.
It was too late to save Pluto. He had been shot in the head and chest. Pluto’s death was a huge loss for Ghost Mob. He was the biggest shooter in the group.
Back then, nobody really knew how many bodies he had caught. But after he died, his own homies said Pluto had killed more than ten people before the ops finally caught up to him. And after his death, his ops confirmed even more bodies Pluto had caught, posting about their homies that Pluto had pulled the trigger on. There are a lot of rumors about who actually killed Pluto, but most people believe Wicked Town took him out.
Wicked Town is one of the most active sets on the West Side, and some of their shooters were so brutal that a judge told one of them he didn’t know if he even had a soul. In 2022, the cops brought down a huge RICO case on Wicked Town, claiming they were responsible for at least nineteen murders in the city. A dude named Lil Don was allegedly calling the shots, but he was putting in work too, allegedly catching at least seven bodies. Lil Don had been active since the early 2000s.
In 2002, he killed someone with his homie John. A year later, Lil Don killed John too. Wicked Town snaked a lot of their own homies. In 2018, they murdered a member named Donald Holmes Jr.
because they thought he was working with the cops. Donald wasn’t actually a snitch, but a shooter from Wicked Town named Scutter killed Donald and his girlfriend right outside his own crib and then bragged about it on tape. Scutter was one of the craziest killers on the West Side. Lil Don recruited him when he was a kid and turned him into a shooter.
By the time the RICO came down, Scutter had allegedly caught fourteen bodies. Scutter decided to take a plea deal instead of going to jail, and he admitted to catching seven bodies in less than three years. The murders were so brutal that when the judge handed down a fifty-year sentence, he told Scutter, “I don’t know if you have a soul. ” There are rumors Scutter might have been on the Pluto Two Times hit, but there’s no evidence to back that up.
Pluto getting killed didn’t slow the violence in the streets at all. On the anniversary of his death, his homies in Ghost Mob allegedly slid on the ops and killed a dude from BTBG named Durn. Durn was chilling on the block on September 27, 2020, when a car pulled up and someone inside started shooting. Durn caught a bullet to the chest and was rushed to the hospital, but they couldn’t save him.
He died that night. Durn was a big loss for BTBG, and they weren’t going to let it go without clapping back. Just two days after Durn died, BTBG allegedly slid on Ghost Mob and killed a member named Sumo. Then, a couple of months later, Ghost Mob took another loss when a member named Tulie was killed by his own homie.
Tulie and some other Ghost Mob members were sitting at a red light when a sixty-eight-year-old man pulled up next to them. A Ghost Mob member named Sid was driving the car. For some reason, Sid tried to kill the old man. He pulled out his gun and started shooting.
When the old man started driving away, Sid turned around and tried to shoot through the back windshield. Tulie and a couple of other Ghost Mob members were sitting in the back seat, though, and Sid ended up hitting Tulie four times in the chest while trying to shoot out the back window. Then Sid and the other Ghost Mob dudes ran out of the car while Tulie bled out in the back seat and died. The cops found Sid that same night and arrested him for killing Tulie.
He ended up catching a twelve-year sentence when he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Tulie was allegedly putting in a lot of work for Ghost Mob before he got killed. Rumors said BTBG had tried to kill him before his own homies did. A lot of people think Tulie took out a BTBG member named 23.
According to some sources, 23 was trying to slide on Ghost Mob but got killed on the hit. After Tulie was killed, another Ghost Mob member showed him love on Facebook, talking about the first time Tulie caught a body. On the same post, a shooter from BTBG named Kill Bill hopped in the comments and dissed Tulie. And before Tulie was killed by Sid, BTBG had allegedly tried to kill him and ended up killing Tulie’s innocent sister instead.
BTBG is known for killing innocents who have nothing to do with the beef. Some sources claim they murdered at least four kids while they were sliding on ops. Ghost Mob was still putting in a lot of work after Pluto was killed, but they started taking way more losses. In 2020, they lost four homies in just a couple of months.
And in 2024, Ghost Mob took one of the most brutal losses in the city when Davo was killed. Davo was walking out of a gas station when a car full of shooters pulled up and started blasting. Davo and his homies didn’t have time to do anything, and Davo hit the ground as soon as the bullets started flying. It’s not clear why the shooters wanted him dead so badly, but they stood over Davo and let off over a hundred shots to make sure he was dead.
One of the shooters even emptied one gun, then went back to the car and got another gun to keep shooting Davo while he was lying on the ground. Nobody was arrested for the hit on Davo, but rumors say BTBG took him out. Ghost Mob allegedly clapped back the next day and took out a BTBG member named JP. Some people claimed Ghost Mob had nothing to do with the JP hit, though.
His murder was allegedly a backdoor situation over some drama about a trap house. But after he died, Ghost Mob started posting a video of JP’s murder. The beef has died down for a little while because Ghost Mob and their ops have all lost a ton of members.
But the war out west definitely isn’t stopping anytime soon.
