Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, took to Instagram Stories on Monday to share a link to the official NFL website in hopes of having her followers vote for the two-time Super Bowl champion into this year’s Pro Bowl.

While the gesture is kind, it’s also unnecessary, especially because Patrick is currently in the running to win league MVP for a second consecutive year. He has also made the Pro Bowl five straight seasons.

Brittany, 28, is obviously just supporting her husband and there’s nothing wrong with that, but in reality, her surrogate votes won’t even make a dent in what will already be an ocean of Pro Bowl votes for Patrick.

“Ya’ll know what to do,” Brittany captioned the post with the link.

Exactly! There’s no need to remind anybody to vote Patrick into the Super Bowl, but thanks anyway.

Mahomes’ Pro Bowl competition includes Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell and Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen.

Even though Howell leads the league in passing yards, his performances haven’t translated into many victories.

It’s safe to say Mahomes has his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl nod in the bag, but will probably not be able to attend.

Mahomes and the Chiefs are in control of their playoff fate and want to secure the top seed in the crowded AFC, which has the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars right there with them.

Moment Australian official performs acknowledgement of country in AZERBAIJAN during climate change conference: ‘Farce’

Most Australians probably couldn’t find Azerbaijan on a map – it’s a former Soviet republic, partly in Asia and partly in Europe – but that didn’t stop delegate Dr Clare Anderson from performing an acknowledgement of country there to a near empty-room.
