The fiancee of American billionaire Jeff Bezos affirms that the 𝑠e𝑥y wooden statue installed at the bow of the Koru superyacht does not depict her (Photo: Page Six).

In a recent interview with Vogue (USA) magazine, Ms. Sanchez wanted to clarify something that many people misunderstand, which is that the wooden statue installed at the bow of billionaire Jeff Bezos’ $500 million super yacht is not never portrayed her.

“I’m very happy that there are people who think I’m the prototype of the statue, but in reality I’m not,” Ms. Sanchez affirmed. She believes that if the statue really depicts her, its bust must be… larger. Mr. Bezos named the expensive super yacht Koru. In the language of the Maori people living in New Zealand, Koru means “new beginning”.

Mr. Bezos requested that a wooden statue be installed at the bow of the yacht, so that his “sea castle” would be protected by a goddess. The wooden statue depicts Mr. Bezos’s favorite goddess, the goddess Freyja, a goddess who appears in Norwegian myths. Goddess Freja symbolizes love, fertility, wealth and war.

This summer, Ms. Lauren Sanchez (53 years old) and her fiance – billionaire Jeff Bezos (59 years old) – had a long vacation on the Koru yacht, passing through the waters of many countries. Every year, billionaire Bezos has to spend $25 million to maintain and care for the Koru yacht. The yacht can accommodate 18 guests at the same time. To operate the ship, billionaire Bezos needs a crew of about 40 people.

Mr. Bezos proposed to Ms. Sanchez this summer on the Koru yacht, however, Ms. Sanchez said the couple had not yet made specific plans for the wedding: “We are both still thinking about the wedding.” How should we organize it, should we hold it in private or not, should we organize it abroad… We haven’t clearly determined anything yet. We’ve only been engaged for 5 months.”

As for Mr. Bezos, he shared very little in his interview with Vogue. When asked if he played an active role in planning the wedding. Mr. Bezos humorously asserted: “Never, do I look silly?”.
