Eric Bramblet, who lives in Florida, USA, said this is the longest giant python he has ever known.
According to Metro, the 5m long Burmese python still lived for about 25 minutes after being shot in the head by hunter Eric Bramblet. It is known that this young hunter was paid to hunt pythons and snakes in Florida, USA when in the wild, these animals have no enemies. Many people also said that they saw pythons in the wild eating crocodiles in Florida.

Eric and his girlfriend Kerry found the giant python – twice the average size, near a lagoon.
“When it discovered us, I figured it would probably try to escape if we made any moves.”
“So I used a small air gun and shot it in the head. However, the shot had no impact on the python and it slipped into the water.” Eric chased the python and wrestled with it for a while. He was bitten by a giant python while struggling. After 25 minutes, the python finally died from its injuries.
Truly a giant python…
“Most of the pythons we catch are usually about 3 meters long. However, this 5 meter long python is a record for me. It is the largest python I have ever caught. Its size must be 3 times more than mine”.
It is known that Eric and his fellow hunters were paid by the South Florida water management board to kill pythons. They said this is “a threat to humans and natural animals”.
