The couple, Henry Parra, 55, and Adam Hlavaty, 42, were among seven victims who lost their lives in the devastating accident during a safari last Wednesday.
Authorities report that the burglary occurred sometime between Thursday and Saturday, following the crash. Geybert Alexander Garcia, 40, and Melany Perdomo, 24, are believed to have broken into the Coral Gables residence, making off with a 2023 Land Rover, a 2020 Porsche Taycan, and a sculpture valued at around $500,000.
According to police, the intruders thoroughly searched the home, taking personal items, business documents, jewelry, electronics, and artwork. The stolen vehicles were later tracked to a nearby location where they were found parked outside a residence linked to the suspects.
Investigators discovered not only the luxury cars but also multiple valuable pieces of art, including the high-value sculpture that belonged to Parra and Hlavaty. Additionally, authorities found tools allegedly used for creating fraudulent documents and a Ford F-150 truck reported stolen from Indian County.
