Anne Hathaway pulled out all the stops when she attended the UK premiere of Christopher Nolans’ epic sci-fi thriller Interstellar on Wednesday night.
Held at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square, the 31-year-old dazzled as she stepped out in a glittering black and gold Wes Gordon dress which finished above her ankles.
The 𝑠e𝑥y number had splits going up the thighs which showed off the Hollywood megastar’s lovely legs as she posed on the red carpet for photographs.

She topped off the look with dark green satin platform heels by Charlotte Olympia and paying close attention to detail, she wore matching emerald drop earrings by Solange Azagury-Partridge.
Taking style inspiration from perhaps Downton Abbey, she wore her raven locks in 1920s style curls which framed her face perfectly.

She stars alongside Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine in the box-office smash but said it hasn’t all been plain sailing making the movie.

The actress had to wear the cumbersome get-up for most of the movie in which she and a team of astronauts travelled through space and across time in order to find a sustainable habitat for the human species to call their new home.
Some of the filming took place in Iceland on glaciers and Matthew McConaughey – who plays pilot and father Cooper – said those suits were great to keep warm in, but unlike for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, he was more concerned this time about eating well than keeping fit.
The catering was great there,’ McConaughey said. ‘After Dallas there was only one way to go and that was up into space and with the weight!’

The Oscar-winning actor also appreciated having his family – wife Camila Alves and their three children – with him throughout the filming of the movie, and it helped him play a father on-screen.
‘I was lucky to have my family with me,’ Matthew said.
‘I’m pretty sure the greatest thing that prepared for the set was saying goodbye to my kids in the morning and then seeing them at the end of the day’.

‘Anne Hathaway is so nice and anyone who says things like that are bullies and mean and jerks,’ the actress said. ‘She’s so nice, she’s so talented, intelligent, generous, a beautiful person and I hope to work with her again.’

Sir Michael Caine said: ‘I’m an avid gardener so I see a lot of wormholes and thought that’s what it meant,’ he said.
‘I didn’t understand this movie but then I met Kip Thorne, and that’s who I was playing, and now I know a lot about wormholes, so I’ve seen the movie and I know what’s on the other side… special effects.’
Interstellar will arrive in US and UK cinemas on November 7.
