Copy cat: Jennifer Lopez appeared to channel her inner Britney Spears last night in a sheer bodysuit at the American Music Awards

Using crystals to cover her modesty Jennifer was seen writhing around the stage in a similar manner to Miss Spears in her iconic 2003 video.

But while Britney was just 21-years-old when she donned the sheer outfit Jennifer bravely decided to try on, and managed to pull off, the same style at twice the age.

While J-Lo ensured she was the hot topic of the evening with her raunchy dance moves which saw her gyrating next to her toyboy Casper, the new couple were said to indulge a series of public displays of affection at an AMA after party.

Jennifer, 42, was said to have enjoyed a series of cosy dancers with the 24-year-old before leaving the bash at Greystone Manner in the early hours of the morning hand-in-hand.

Us Magazine reported that Jennifer: ‘made a beeline for Smart, grabbed his hand, and headed into a private booth near the DJ.’

Meanwhile People magazine noted that Casper: ‘Sealed Lopez’s big night with a kiss.’

The mother-of-two arrived at the bash in a super-short gown embellished with feathers, the last of a series of elaborate outfits of the evening.

She teamed the dress with glittering silver heels and a matching hard clutch bag.

Earlier in the evening it appeared that Jennifer was on a mission to exude as much 𝑠e𝑥 appeal as possible as she took to the stage to perform Papi dressed in the sheer bodysuit.

As well as dancing with her new man Casper, the singer was also seen shaking her famous derriere against Pitbull’s crotch who joined her on stage for the performance.

The intimate moves proved curious particularly as the rapper joined J-Lo’s estranged husband Marc Anthony on stage later in the evening.

Jennifer also performed her new track alongside Will.I.Am but her second set of the night paled in comparison to the impact of her first.
