Teens ARRESTED After TikTok Jacuzzi Ambush on California Dad Turns Violent and His iPhone Is Stolen

A relaxing evening in a jacuzzi turned into a nightmare for a California father when two teenagers allegedly ambushed him in a bizarre TikTok stunt gone wrong. The incident, which occurred on August 14 in San Bernardino, has left many questioning the lengths some will go for social media fame.

Greg Medina, 48, was unwinding in his hot tub when one of the boys reportedly approached from behind and delivered a swift kick to his head. The second teen then snatched Medina’s iPhone, leaving the father of a 12-year-old daughter, Emmy, shocked and injured.

The 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 attack was caught on surveillance footage, revealing the boys laughing as they executed their plan. Medina later shared that the teens had taken his phone to prevent him from calling for help. “They thought it was funny to do this to me,” he said, expressing his disappointment that the motivation behind the assault was a TikTok video.

After the incident, the boys’ parents stepped in. One father reached out to Medina via Facebook, admitting his son’s involvement and ultimately took him to the police station. Both teens were arrested, with one facing charges of robbery and battery, while the other was charged with robbery.

Their identities remain undisclosed due to their age.

Medina recounted the aftermath of the attack, which left him with a concussion and ongoing health issues, including headaches and dizziness. He was forced to miss work as a chef at Lutheran Social Services, where he prepares meals for homeless individuals. The loss of his $1,000 phone and broken glasses added to the emotional and financial burden of the incident.

Reflecting on the experience, Medina expressed a sense of relief knowing the boys are now in custody. “I don’t have to worry about them being out on the streets now,” he stated. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential consequences of reckless behavior for social media clout.

As Medina continues his recovery, he hopes that this incident will prompt others to think twice about the impact of their actions. What do you think about the lengths people will go for social media fame?
