In a 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 turn of events, a 19-year-old man was apprehended over 14 hours after a mass shooting at Virginia State University left five individuals injured. Camron Harris, who is reportedly not affiliated with the university, was discovered hiding in a closet within Seward Hall around 4 p. m.

Harris, a resident of Henrico, approximately 30 miles from the campus, faces serious charges including four counts of malicious wounding and four counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony. The incident unfolded shortly before 1:30 a. m.

when he allegedly opened fire, injuring a 20-year-old male student and four others aged 17 to 23, none of whom were students at the university.
