Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez fans were sent into a frenzy this week after the two stars were spotted entering and leaving the same restaurant in Paris, France.

Despite video footage showing the model, 26, and music artist, 30, exiting the eatery L’Avenue around the same time, TMZ confirmed the two were actually not there to dine together.

The ladies were seated on different floors of the establishment during their meals, the website also reported.

The confusion was sparked when a viral TikTok video showed the socialites emerge from the haunt one after the other.

Justin Bieber‘s wife Hailey and the Only Murders in the Building actress, who dated on and off for eight years, were also at the same Paris Fashion Week party days ago.

Gomez and Bieber managed to avoid a run-in with each other at a star-studded afterparty where Kendall Jenner and Nicola Peltz were also guests.

It comes six months after the two media sensations begged their millions of social media followers to stop instigating a non-existent feud between them.

At the time, Selena had asked her admirers to stop bullying and sending ‘death threats’ to her ex-boyfriend Justin’s spouse.

The Grammy nominee told fans that Hailey had reached out to her about receiving unkind messages and comments from her die-hard fans, dubbed Selenators.

‘This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop,’ Gomez said.

And Hailey later thanked the Good For You singer for coming to her defense.

‘I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,’ Hailey wrote online.

Gomez and Hailey have reportedly been on good terms since the Bad Liar hitmaker addressed the speculation over their rumored spat once and for all in a post shared to her Instagram Stories earlier this year.

For years, the internet has pitted the former Disney star and the model against one other.

But in October 2022, they proved there was no bad blood between them when they posed for photos together at an event.

In February 2023, rumors that they were fighting started to spread once again after Hailey shared a TikTok video in which some believed she was making fun of Selena.

Joined by friends Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye, the ladies lip-synced along to the words: ‘I’m not saying she deserves it, but God’s timing is always right.’

The clip was shared around the time that Selena was receiving negative attention over a set of unflattering paparazzi photos.

Based on the timing of Hailey’s post, many were convinced that she was shading Selena.

The TikTok was swiftly deleted, and Hailey insisted in a comment that the video had nothing to do with her husband’s ex.

‘I never comment on this type of thing but we were just having a girls’ night and did a random TikTok sound for fun,’ she wrote. ‘It’s not directed at anyone.’

While in Paris for several days, Hailey was busy promoting her successful skincare and beauty line, Rhode.

Throughout the trip, she has appeared on Instagram to share outtakes from the exciting time with her 50.7 million followers.

Days ago she dropped in on the social media platform to share pictures of herself in a pink mini-dress. She wrote in the caption, ‘Bonjour,’ with a pink bow emoji.

On Thursday she attended a launch event for Rhode in a skintight brown mini dress and matching heels.
