In a 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 revelation, a 20-year-old man, Justin Swaddle, has been sentenced to two years in prison for his disturbing online campaign that targeted over 100 young girls, coercing them into self-harm and sexual acts. The National Crime Agency (NCA) detailed his actions, which spanned across various social media platforms, including Discord, Snapchat, and Telegram.
Swaddle, who was just 17 at the time of his offenses, operated under several aliases, including ‘Epstein,’ which he reportedly used to manipulate vulnerable victims. His activities were conducted within a group known for sharing extreme content, where young boys seek notoriety by engaging in increasingly severe criminal behavior.
According to NCA Operations Manager Danielle Pownall, Swaddle’s tactics involved grooming young girls worldwide, instilling fear to compel them into acts of self-harm and sexual activity. His devices contained harrowing images of victims, including evidence of their self-harm injuries, with his usernames reportedly carved into their skin.
The investigation revealed that Swaddle communicated with 117 female victims, aged between 13 and 17, eight of whom were located in the UK. One victim recounted her experience of meeting him on Discord in late 2022, where their interactions quickly escalated to Snapchat, leading to sexual conversations and requests for 𝓷𝓾𝓭𝓮 images.
Allegedly, Swaddle threatened to expose personal information about his victims if they did not comply with his demands. Disturbingly, he also attempted to incite one child to engage in sexual 𝓪𝓫𝓾𝓼𝓮 of another young child, according to NCA reports.
Swaddle was first apprehended by West Yorkshire Police in October 2023, facing charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent images. The NCA launched a comprehensive investigation in January 2024, uncovering hundreds of explicit conversations that raised alarms about the safety of numerous young girls.
Working alongside international law enforcement agencies from the USA, Canada, Australia, Norway, and New Zealand, investigators aimed to protect the victims and bring Swaddle to justice. He ultimately pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including inciting minors to engage in sexual activities and making indecent photographs of children.
